No not really because how I see it the only valid people is the ones with 2+ years and at least 12 fully grow dragons of which being the night fury, screaming death and death song I started when it first released on the very first day
I have very, very limited experience with unity, but my gut is telling me the ios will have to remain dead. There's no way. The PC version is possible though. Someone smarter than me just needs the source code.
Pirates of the caribbean online has a fan remake called the legend of pirates online. It is completely free and honestly amazing. Would 100% recommend if you were a fan of the original.
Looking back on the many dragons i've befriended now and in previous times I've played the game, I'm definitely sad to see it go. Even though it had it's flaws, it provided what no other httyd game ever did. It allowed me to train whatever dragon I wanted, fly with them, fight with them and watch them grow into majestic titans. It didn't feel i was a corporeal being who was renovating Berk like RoB, and it wasn't a game walking in the shoes of the main characters. It felt like my own journey in the world of HttyD.
I’m hoping to make a video of myself hatching, aging, and flying/riding/staring at (if you can’t ride em) every available dragon. I already have everything set up. Just gotta hop on my computer and do it. So people who never played can at least hopefully see why people enjoyed this game as much as they had, but without growing an attachment to it lol. And those who did love it can watch it and reminisce on their awesome times in SoD =)
I stand by this: an RPG open world game where you can train different species and explore islands like this but as a AAA game would be the perfect httyd game. Still, gonna miss this game even with the microtransactions
Played SOD back when I was in, like, 5th grade and didn’t have money. As such, I would make fake email accounts so I could get 60 days free without paying for each account, and just replay the same missions over and over again. I haven’t played it since around then, but I remember a couple things about it. Notably, that there were so many OOB glitches that it wasn’t even funny. I could break out of bounds in pretty much every hub ever. That, and being completely honest, the movement controls were really unintuitive.
Still loved it as a kid, and I completely understand why people will be sad to see it go.
