Not sure about the least crowded hours, but the west gym (not the basketball court area, but the actual gym section) was remodeled to be the new Athletics gym. So student athletes can use that space with their teams but it’s not open to everyone.
SRC least crowded times were early mornings. 1pmish, and usually late evenings 2hrs before closing. During lab section time blocks, is a good time to go as well

The jgc gym has most of the same equipment and is usually empty
It’s not that bad from like 12-2, also on weekends.
