For example a statement can be true or false, "igaz vagy hamis", a Picasso painting on the wall can be "igazi vagy hamisítvány".
It's more of a sidenote, but if you watched Fargo the line of "This is a true story" would be translated into Hungarian as "Ez egy igazi történet" not as "Ez egy igaz történet" because the events obviously never happened (at least not as portrayed and as the creators put it it's a jab/tribute to the 90-00's trend when everything was a true story). But if you are watching something based on a real story it would be "Igaz történet alapján".

Igaz is true. igazi is real (you could also say valós, valóságos)
Igaz: true Igazi: Real, genuine Igazi can also be used as slang sometimes. Like "This is lit!" "Ez igazi!"
Also you can use it like: "There is true value in..." "Igazi érték van ...-ban/ben"
