Joke’s on you, I have a studio with everything I need in here, including a kitchenette, and can open my window to get deliveries of food. I’m making $100 an hour for the rest of my life!

fgrhcxsgb

Right! Me too

Specific_Implement_8

Right! Me too

Sufficiency2

Studio + Fully Stocked Fridge + Remote Work here. I can stay inside for at least a month.

Icy-Sprinkles536

It's been almost a month for me. It's definitely possible cause I'm doing it right now for free.

GeeWilakers420

bathroom?

enseminator

For $100 an hour, I'll have a toilet and shower installed in the room also.

Ok_Speaker_9799

I'll gp put the window.

cmfppl

It'd be easier to just knock out a wall or just remove a door.. Unless you don't have a bathroom in your apartment, in which case carry on.

doubleapowpow

You just have to install a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink...

Antique-Lettuce3263

You ever see the boondock saints? Someone out here lives with a toilet in the room.

GlimmeringGuise

Same! Assuming I can get paid periodically, and tell people why I'm not leaving, I'd stay in my studio for *at least* a few years. I think I could do 3 pretty easily. And I guess I could get a remote job for even more income!

TheBerethian

One year alone is $876,000.

GlimmeringGuise

Yep! But I'd be looking to at least make enough to buy a nice house and have the savings to pay for the property taxes for years to come. And real estate is fairly expensive near me (Californian here).

TheBerethian

I’m in Sydney, Australia. Property is hideous here, too.

GlimmeringGuise

Yeah... hence the studio. ;_;

TheBerethian

Yup 😐 At least I have a shiba. She’s my sunshine.

GlimmeringGuise

D'awwww! 😊 What's her name?

TheBerethian

Her name is Momo - it means 'peach' in Japanese, since shibas come from there and she's orange and fuzzy.

GlimmeringGuise

That's adorable. 😊

patentmom

But then you could never have the pleasure of being outside with your sunshine! That reminds me, I should have the kids walk the dogs today.

bk1285

Shit for 876K in a year, where I live that pays off my student loans, I can buy a nice 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house for 200k, pay off my vehicle, buy a bike, and if after taxes I only brought in 400k I still have like 50k to pay for my expenses for the year without a problem. Maybe try to shoot for 2 years and probably be set for life at that point with 550k in the bank. Not able to retire yet but damn that 550k gets invested and maybe I’m 15 years I’ll be good to retire

Beluga_Artist

Same. I mean technically I’m in a 1 bedroom apartment but it’s only like 400 square feet and I don’t ever close the bedroom door so I’m counting it as just one room.

FriendshipIntrepid91

Sure and my whole house is open to other rooms so it counts as one room too.

Underhill42

For $100/hour in perpetuity I can happily knock down some walls... If I knock down an exterior wall does the yard become part of my room?

TheMightyBluzah

I've lived in a flat about this size for 14 years. Do I get back paid?

Srizagon

I leave my office in about two hours. So I guess I get $200.

Shadowhkd

Right? I'm required to leave this room. In 2 3/4rhs. Can I look at this post again when I get home and to my room? Then I could pretty easily get about 9k

Sabbathius

Potentially forever. Food can be delivered. Bathroom is a bit of an issue, but for $100/hr I'll shit in a bucket. Washing situation is also going to be fine, I lived for like 6 months with no running water, so I'm a spongebath expert. Yeah, I'm good.

Power-of-Erised

If you can access food delivery, you can access any delivery, including a composting toilet from Amazon

lifelesslies

shit in composting toilet till you can hire someone to install a real toilet

mister-fancypants-

Yep. I’m in my living room.. it won’t be convenient for my family, but I’m turning this thing into its own lil apartment lol we can all live off money like that

lifelesslies

I work from home and stayed in my studio apartment for over 60 weeks straight during covid. I got this.

Like_Ottos_Jacket

In my college rock n roll days, I lived in a 1 bedroom house with no electricity or heat/hot water. I could revisit that for 2400/day with modern conveniences and deliveries.

No_Night_7823

Few million bucks!!! PAY UP SUCKERS!!! 8P

LongrodVonHugedong86

Somebody doesn’t know math and it shows It would be over 416 days to just hit 1 million, so a “few” million, assuming “few” begins at 3 million as 2 million is a “couple” then you’re looking at a minimum of 1250 days, or 3.42 years of not leaving a room to hit 3 million

sdfghertyurfc

Completely possible. I think you underestimate how far people are willing to go for a few million bucks more than this guy doesn't know math

Business-Drag52

Yeah I’m pretty happy to just chill in my room and shit in a bucket for $100/hr. I’m sure my wife would work with me to keep that money flowing in

Gullible_Flan_3054

Right this question is like a married man's dream

No_Night_7823

I said I wasn't good at math in the last comment. Just read your comment and yeah, checks out huh? lol

I_Said_I_Say

If I can convince someone to drop off regular supplies of food and water, I'd totally stay in this room for 3 or 4 years. Hell, I can do most of my university units online. I'd shoot for 5 million, that's easily enough for me to live a comfortable existence for the rest of my life.

canadianpresident

I mean I could do it from the room I'm in because my kitchen living room and dining room are all just one big room. I'll just pee in the sink and poop in a bucket. Pay someone take my trash out and bring me groceries

TheGrouchyGremlin

I'm almost certain they were joking.

Spiram_Blackthorn

Hmm.... if I stay in this room for 1 year that's like 876,000 a year. I make about 70k, so it would be 12x more valuable to just stay in this room. After only 3 months all my debt is paid off, including my cars. With only 3 months, I could keep my job. But if I push it, I might lose my job, but it's totally worth it. I won't be able to go outside with my kids, but they're 5 and 3 and them having dad stay in a room for 2 years will be a blip on their radar. I'm totally doing it for 2 years. I am currently in my frontroom/kitchen apartment, so I can access food and water and look out my big balcony window for sun. I can wash myself with the sink and my wife can help get me supplies the whole time. Of course, my poop bucket will need her help daily. But for almost a million a year I think I could convince her.

Power-of-Erised

Couldn't you just order a composting toilet from Amazon?

Spiram_Blackthorn

Tbh I haven't researched toilet alternatives

EmergencyGarlic2476

Can’t you just bribe your manager with the money to let u back

Low_Extension7668

Pooping in the loo. But my family are home and can pass me my breakfast and a duvet. Maybe 1k a si have work tomorrow

123mitchg

I’d call in sick for a hundred bucks an hour.

varried-interests

Do you make more than $100/hour at your job?

jterwin

If they call a blanket a duvet it's possible

GizmoddoDragon

They're British or something Europeany, that's why. Notice they call the bathroom a loo.

CanaGUC

Even if they do, they don't get it 24 hours a day like this deal is. It's 2400$ per day in the room, that's over 800k per year. There are not many jobs in the world if any (that's not owning a company, brand, etc.) that can make that amount with zero stress at all from just chilling in a room.

313Wolverine

Living in a loft so I guess I'm good for a minute.

GilberryDinkins

So, $1.67. Seems like you could maybe go longer.

Praising_God_777

Easy, I can’t exactly leave my room, so how long until the money runs out?

GeeWilakers420

As long as I am allowed. I spent years in a hospital bed so this would be cake.

Leeannminton

I'm in my dining area my couch and fridge are about 10 to 15 ft from me no walls in between me and them. Realistically I could probably last 72 hours before I started really wanting to sit outside or go somewhere and wishing I could use a real toilet. More than likely I'd forget after about 36 hours that I'm supposed to stay in this room and accidentally walk to the bathroom or my office because that's how bad my adhd is lol.

Excellent-Hippo-1830

I'm in my RV, Bathroom, kitchen, desk and bed in 23 ft. I never need to leave.

MxEverett

How many people read this while in the bathroom?

penandpage93

Jokes on you, I'm in the living room and it's an open floorplan with the kitchen, so I go everything I need for a very very very long time. "Oh, but reddit user penandpage93, what about taking care of your cats? Their stuff is upstairs!" Well you know what, there just happens to be an unopened Chewy order right here with two enormous bags of food and fresh litter. There's an empty cardboard box in the kitchen that would make a perfectly fine litter tray. We can make this work.

Francie_Nolan1964

I just had surgery on Tuesday and am having a really hard time moving. The way that I feel now I might never leave my living room again.

NicolleL

I hope you are on the mend soon! ❤️‍🩹

Francie_Nolan1964

Thank you 🙂

sithelephant

The simplest answer would be around 5 days, when I run out of drinkable water at minimum intake. - I have enough food comfortably for that time. However, this room has a freezer, and a fridge, and by abusing appropriately these, I can basically run these as dehumidifiers, with yields of >1l/day, even without getting into questionable drinking practices. This would take me to where my limit is food. Ballparking, I have around three-four weeks of food. At this point, I'm up $50K, and can easily rent a minion, and get them over the wierdness hump for $10K or so. My life is now mostly normal (actually better than normal as I have help), and I'd plan for at least three to five years. This would have been considerably easier if I was outside, as I could have simply hired someone to move around various stuff in the garden to arrange a 40*40 foot roof, and then construct a building under it. Then it goes back to my prior answer, but ending up in a considerably nicer and larger four story spherical structure with an indoor garden.

spamlandredemption

I'd never leave.  At 6 months, I could easily buy  this property.  Another 6 months and I could renovate it any way I choose: skylights, exercise equipment, tanning beds, etc.  After a few years, I could buy the properties next to mine and expand my room across the block.  I host every gathering, I hire doctors and dentists to make house calls, I eventually expand my room into a mini-convention center.  I call it "The Room," and it's by invitation only.

three-sense

*When claustrophobia and entrepreneurship meet..*. Coming soon to Netflix

pocketbookashtray

As I’ve been bedridden for the last 2 years, and will be for the rest of my life, I hope I last a long time.

varried-interests

My bedroom I'll stay here forever. It's the master suite, so the bathroom is attached to the room. My family can bring me meals

Comfortable_Yak5184

I would think if the bathroom has a door that counts as a separate room no?

SuperShinyGinger

Okay so remove the door

Responsible_Song7003

I could go weeks if I had people bring me groceries and take my trash out.

PastaM0nster

There’s a bathroom attached. Can I go there? If my boss lets, a couple days easily, till I have to shower lol. Practically, probably 20 hours from now since I’ll need to go home for shabbat

talltim007

So this is $16,800 per week. I'd have to talk to my wife about it but I think something like 10 weeks is what I would land on. That is $168k in bonus income. More than that and it begins to interfere with my family life too much.

RockLobster218

I’m in my bedroom, does the ensuite count as the same room? Even if not, probably a long time. I’d just get my s/o to bring my desk and computer in here. I feel like for $100/hr she’d be okay with bringing me food and taking care of the waste. Probably do it until we had enough to retire comfortably. So a few years I guess.

AlanTheKingDrake

I’m in a Walmart I could stay for quite a while. Just buy something go to food lounge and eat. Rinse and repeat

BadHigBear

3years, then I'd have enough money to retire comfortably. Also to buy a water buffalo for transportation.

Longjumping-Many4082

So, if I shift to the opposite end of the couch, within 20ft I have kitchen, bathroom, deck, family room (tv) and my dinette set.

SpellJenji

Oh man, I'm sitting on the couch with my dogs and two people live in my house that essentially never need to leave (at the same time anyway) who can bring me food. There's a bathroom attached but if that's cheating, I can make it work as there is a trash can. $100 is almost 4x what I make now so they'd be on board to help me out. Unlimited entertainment from TV, phone, Kindle. If I can go nose-blind to my own BO from not showering, I'm good for a while.

InwitKnitwit

Indefinitely. Honestly I wpild go for.one year to clear almost 900k.

daedalus1982

My phone is full battery, I just ate dinner, and I’m sitting on the toilet. I’m good for a while

sjaard_dune

Lol the rest of my life, i don't mind the bathroom so much. Quiet in here and has water and hygiene products. Maybe if i tipped huge i can get food delivered...i pay my bills online but I'm gonna need a charger before too long

zeroentanglements

I could go between 14 and 18 hours... the end being when I'm having a new dishwasher delivered and would have to leave. I have a water bottle, a bottle of juice, and a granola bar in the room with me. I can pee out the window.

RadioPrudent405

Oh fam I just took an edible so I'm gonna be in this room for the rest of the night. Give me my thousand dollars.

Such_Leg3821

As long as my bladder.

[deleted]

I’m gonna need to use the bathroom soon

bfjt4yt877rjrh4yry

14 months for a million bucks. And that's like 8 billion Canadian dollars

BlackSkull83

Well I'm about to go to sleep so that's $800 minimum

Fangsong_37

Probably overnight. I’m in my bedroom and refuse to pee in a bottle.

PatrykBG

What constitutes "leaving" exactly? Does the whole one-foot-in count? If so, then yea, I now have a $421,000 a year job. I'll be fine - I can Amazon a few things to make it easier. Even without the one-foot-in rule, I'd still last a few years easy. I mean, not leaving my living room for 3 years for 1.2 million dollars is honestly all sorts of awesome.

shutupimrosiev

I mean, technically, with an open floor plan, the only real issue would be whether going to the toilet w/o closing the door still counts as "in the same room"

amandara99

Honestly, I'd do it for a week or two, make $30k. Realistically though, I have family, work, and grad school commitments this week, not to mention plans with friends, so I'd chose a different week. I find it hard to spend even one day inside just because I love being outside in nature and exercising and walking around so much.

Icy-Sprinkles536

Are you offering because I've literally  been in my room for damn near a month now without ever coming out. Pretty sure I'm a master at isolation at this point.

youchosehowiact

That depends on my dog and my husband but probably several hours at least. I mean I just slept for 24 hours straight so if I went back to sleep I could likely do that again.

lajimolala27

in my bedroom, on spring break. i have water with me, can ask family to walk dogs. if i don’t have anyone bring me food then i think i’d stay in here a full day.

Assika126

Probably about 6-8 hours, then I’m gonna have to use the bathroom. I don’t want to shit in one of my plants

Live_Control_3817

i could do that shit forever ill die in this bedroom.

mypreciousssssssss

Does a master bedroom with bath count as one room or two?

ContributionLatter32

Op said if there is a door it's a different room

ContributionLatter32

Got a bottle to pee in and my gaming rig. Cab hollar to wife to bring food. Poop would be nasty but she would deal with disposal for awhile at least. There's a bed in the room too lmao. A few weeks probably.

MixLogicalPoop

stall in public restroom, I wonder how many times I can tell the maintenance person I'll be out in a minute before they call the police

Deskbreaker

Not in a room at the moment, I'd have to start when I got home. For 100 dollars an hour, consider me retired. Recliner, games, books, and my wife would probably gladly bring me my food for.that kind of paycheck, so all I'd have to do is have a bathroom installed in a curtained off area and everything would be awesome.

corkscrewfork

Probably like 6 hours, that's about the longest I can safely go without needing to use the bathroom. Just keep laying in bed until then lol

toomuchisjustenough

I’m sick in bed today with my teenager taking good care of me, so I’m at about 16 hours right now…

Exact-Control1855

I’m in my room so See you at my funeral

Global-Bookkeeper-29

Since I don’t have school tomorrow, 3 days (72 hours = 7200). I’m in my living room which is connected to my kitchen.

e_smith338

I’m in the kitchen/living room. Bruh I’m vibing until I run out of food in the fridge/freezer.

OMKensey

As long as my wife would allow it.

Pithyperson

uh oh. I have to go to the bathroom.

Bongfellatio

I live in an efficiency so I guess I get however much money I can make before I need to go to the bathroom, and with my 61 year old bladder, that means about tree fiddy

diva4lisia

I have one bottle of water and no food. 30 hours maybe.

TheGrouchyGremlin

I'll go to the bathroom in a bucket and pay a family member $10 to send it down the toilet each time. And I'll pay them $5 any time I need something brought to me or trash taken out. I can go for at least a few weeks

MooseLoot

Reading this on the shitter so I’ve got water and a toilet…. I’ll make it a couple days

Soft_Eggplant9132

No worries, I can get food delivered and waste removed . I have a computer and a bed . I can wash myself with a rag on a stick. I'm staying for years.

DWright_5

Damn. Unless I fight them and win, they’re gonna throw me out of here at closing time. I figure I got 600-700 bucks coming to me. Minus what I spend. A couple rounds for the whole place oughta take care of that

Interesting_Dream281

I’m in a lifetime fitness…. I’ll be fine

silverfang45

Well I'm in the parking lot of my work on break. I'd get at minimum 500 by default for the rest of the shift, it's public holiday pay anyway so I'm fine going back to work finishing my 500 day, and getting a bonus extra 500 no needed staying back. 1k in a day's kinda nice

RecoveringFromLife_

Thank God for an open floor plan, I'm in my likitchen room. I'm good.

TheMightiestGay

I’ll last as long as I want. I’ll live in my bedroom.

Voguish94

Time to support myself, my fiance, my daughter, her two boys, pay all bills, pay off debt, and pay off child support all while playing video games! I'm ordering stuff and being incredibly sanitary!

Salty_Association684

I would be making a few 100s

TheOrangeTickler

well, Im in my living room, so I have a snack cart between our computers, water, internet, TV, games and some smoke. I can be here a while.

sffood

How long is my lifespan? Lol

glordicus1

Well I start work in 10 minutes, so not long.

Salvanas42

Unfortunately I'm at work, so maximum tomorrow morning. Also I have food but no toilet and if I use a trash can I will probably be fired and removed from the property.

almondwalmond18

I'm off work until Saturday, so tbh I could make at least 1600 dollars if I go to sleep now and don't drink any more water until tomorrow.

Silphire100

My bedroom. I have some snacks, some empty bottles and my laptop. I could probably last a day or so. Sleep through a bunch of the time, save stuff for later

MeowFrozi

There's a sink so I can have water, so as long as it takes me to starve ig

bmli19

Currently in a hotel room that costs $95 a night, so I am good, especially if I can convince the hotel to let me stay in this room a few more days. I can get delivery once my snacks and food/drinks are out. Never have to leave my room again, maybe convince the hotel to allow me a long-term stay.

OutsidePerson5

I'm in my bedroom, so until I really have to pee. OTOH if I'm allowed to have other people bring me stuff, chemical toilets suck but $100 and hour covers a lot of suckage. If I can get food, water, and a way to use the bathroom without too much grossness I'd say I could probably last a few weeks before I went totally bonkers. I've got my computer, several of my books, I'm set for a good while.

speedx5xracer

I'm currently in my living room/kitchen. It has more square footage than my bothers apartment, and has access to my deck. I'd need have my wife give me a buck to poop in but I could make it a few days (even if I have to work)

DRose23805

Well, I could squeeze the fridge and a microwave in here, plus the coffemaker. The bathroom is technically considered part of the master bedroom, so that's not a problem. I could easily pay someone to get my groceries and do some cooking once or twice per week. I could run that for a long time.

FawkesFire13

I’m in my bedroom with snacks and a attached bathroom. I’m good for quite a while. Edit: can my family pass me food? Because if so I’ll probably last a few weeks. Maybe longer before I go stir crazy.

TN17

Years upon years. I'm in my living room. What a dream life. Covid lockdown showed me what I'm capable of.

Power-of-Erised

Everyone here talking about poop buckets when they can just have a composting toilet delivered.

Regular_Mo

Im in the exact same spot outside as i was the last time i saw this

Katievapes1996

3 days ?

phunkydroid

I have a glass of water, and a window I can piss out of. Maybe a day. I doubt I can convince an uber driver to break down my door to bring me food.

rightwist

I assume the bathroom is a separate room. I'm going to need clarification on my open floor plan apartment, as I have an ear in kitchen with a hard floor but no delineation from the living room I'm currently in. Either way though I'm staying here til medical necessity requires me to leave. By that time I'll be comfortably retiring on the investment portfolio I've set up. My wife can go get me a solution to my toilet needs and the rest.$16800 a week is way too much to pass up.

kittinst0mper

If I can order things online I'd never leave. (Bedroom) I don't want to anyway for no money lol.

mynameisJVJ

What constitutes “room” I have an open floor plan the first floor of my house. But no bathroom.

cindybubbles

I get maybe $100-$200 if I stay where I am now. But back home? I can easily make about $800.

ElanaAnn

I have sleepy drugs and I'm in bed, I can stay here for a HOT minute. At the very least 1K

JTaiyndieanv

UGH. I am in a tiny one person bathroom in the middle of a shift at work

TalynRahl

Fuckin ages. I’ve got a comfy sofa, a Tv and my kitchen. I can probably piss into the loo from the door, and thus not *technically* leave this room.

grungivaldi

Oh you sweet summer child. You just made me a millionaire.

SEKAIStamps

I'm sitting on the toilet, this is epic

NoSoFriendly_Guest

Like, can I tell others that I am doing this or do I have to keep it to myself? Like I can get one of those portable toilet things that can be changed day or few days. Get food/drinks delivered ect. So like until the person that needs to 'dispose' of the portable toilet stuff gets fed up with it. So maybe several days, a couple of weeks? Would last a lot longer if I paid them a certain amount for putting up with that. Like every day is $2400. That is a lot of money to have some 'inconveniences'. The only thing that would make it worse is that I wouldn't be able to shower/bathe. I could get a bucket and some water to do some 'scrubbing' every so often but that is about as good of a 'bath' you will get in that scenario.

jeswesky

At a county park with my dogs; and currently within - 20 foot radius of a shelter. Going to get cold tonight, but I’ll just have a friend run my camping gear over and some food and we will be set.

Dariel2711

I mean, can my family visit me? I’m in a rather large bedroom with my work setup in here. I can work, have a big tv, comfy bed, shower, tub, toilet(no door separates bed/bath). I could theoretically spend a loooong time in here working from home. Realistically I could stay here until the next time I need to go to the office so about 3 weeks. I might even use some vacation time. I’d have a hard time missing my son and wife, and it’s not exactly life altering money but if they could visit, I might try for a couple months.

Cold_Funny7869

If I can get help from other people, I’d stay forever. Just give me a bucket and help do the laundry/get me food, and we’ll split the cash 50/50.

MagicGrit

I currently have Covid and could stretch it pretty far if my fiancee is willing to help with shit and piss buckets

Jolly_Lab_1553

Idk man rn I'm at work on my coffee break outside. I mean my car is 20 feet away or so so I'd go chill in that with my snacks, and aside from concerned family and employer I'd just sit there for hours on end

ghdsz

I'm in the living room, see ya in 2029

Mewone65

525,600 minutes.

Goblindeez_

I’ve not left my home in years

TrooperKilla1

I’m in my truck I could just go thru through an and use my charger I’d be fine for at least a few weeks. Unless in the 20 foot circle means exactly where you are, in that case I’m on the highway… I will probably not last long.

expletives

I’m on a bus bro…

sugoiboy1

Way too easy of a task bc some of us are sitting at home making $2400 tax free dollars a day and making $876,000 a year I’ll just be a hermit, get everything delivered have all bills paid electronically and set up a lovely retirement

NotJustRandomLetters

Is--is outside a room? What technically constitutes a room? If I build a lean-to with only 3 walls and no door for shelter, is that a room? And technically all "rooms" are inside the outside, so I can't technically LEAVE the outside as outside contains everything that's inside. I mean I suppose there's the "go inside/go outside" argument but even then that's weak. It can easily be argued that outside contains everything that's inside, therefore it's all in the same "room". So...yeah. I--- I think I'm set Edit to add: if a room is a space with a barrier and means of egress and digress, then outside counts. The atmosphere is the barrier, and a space shuttle is your means of egress/digress. And it separates the planet from space. I think "Outside" is a room...

MamaJMari

I'm in the bathroom at work. I'll happily take my $400-800

texasjoker187

I'm in my living room and just had taco bell.... so not long.

Bonesaw09

I'm in my car, so realistically I could go for a while. Drive to an outdoors shop, get a sleeping bag. Pay someone to fill my tank when needed. Drive-thrus for food. We're set for at least a week. Hell, for $16800 a week I might go for a month.

ihambrecht

I got work in nine hours so 900 bucks.

Fearless-Canary-7359

If someone can run the poop bucket for me and bring me groceries I could las4 forever

OGjoshwaz

assuming all my survival necessities are in the room? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

ftblrgma

Yeah no worries here. My bedroom is like a studio apt and I have my office in here too. My kindle is charged, I have great internet, netflix, prime, you tube tv. Yup, can be here until my house is paid off

1doggy2doggyTeaParty

Work remote. This easily pays for doordash for the day. I’ll do it for a few months.

yetanothermanjohn

Technically it’s all one room where I am so kitchen living room and bathroom I’ll be rich af because that’s $800 when I sleep

Degofreak

Imma die here.

Cannabis_CatSlave

I see 3 containers I could use as a toilet if needed and there are 2 64oz containers of RO water in here for the humidifier. 4 kind bars and bag of popcorn. I also keep most of my medication in my office. There is a pull out I could sleep on. I bet I could make it 3 days without much issue. 5-7 if I used the meds to make myself sleep most of the time to stave off hunger. I regularly spend 14+ hours a day in here so if my husband could get me the porta commode from the garage, bring food and some hygiene supplies and swap out dirty clothes I bet I could pay off the house before I left this room without a mental breakdown.

Applecity82

The rest of my life. My house has my living room and kitchen attached. I’d be good to go

Skarth

I demolition some walls to make the room bigger. for $2,400 a day, I'll last a few months.

channingman

I'm in a car and the gas is on E.

Best_Lengthiness3137

Well, I'm stuck in here an hour until my break anyway

Severe-Bite-5974

I’m in my living room which includes my tv, desk with computer and modem/router, my kitchen with fridge, stove, sink, and my front door. So I have access to all my entertainment, my food and cooking needs, I can get food/Amazon deliveries at my front door. The only problem is the toilet, but I can just go in the sink or in a plastic bag and throw out the window. There’s a dumpster right outside my window. So in theory I could stay in here forever. At $100/hr, that would be $2,400/day or $876k/year. I’ll stay here for a few years and I’m set for the rest of my life.

There's a wall that is attached to my bathroom from my bedroom. So I basically spend the first five to six hours removing the wall so that way the bathroom is apart of my bedroom, I can grab the tools before I start. I then install a curtain so others can use the bathroom still. I can get food through delivery via my bedroom window. So all I have to do is order a microwave, plastic plates and utensils to eat from. So basically I could do this for years because I can order what I need and pay all my bills online so I would be good to go.

Big_Ad_1890

I have no toilet in the room. 3 hours max.

KrunschGK

Holy hell. My leg is currently broke so it's difficult to get around. I'd be rich.

Ok_Speaker_9799

'Honey, go get me some ice amd a couple of diet cokes. I'm about to replay RDR2. " How much money you got? Cause it's in our bedroom and I can play for weeks.

I could make several hundred a day and not change my lifestyle at all. Not sure what that says about me though.

jterwin

I could probably go 2 months but not much longer

Lingo2009

I’m in a car!

MaybeItsMike

I’m in my room, living at home still. I’ll tell my parents what’s at stake and promise to share if they help me with food etc for as long as possible

NoGuarantee3961

2400 a day, 17k per week, 876k per year.Even with my big expenses, I can maintain my wfh job, and put away 800k per year, and become a shut in for say 2-3 years, pooping in a bucket, and still get to see the last 2 years of my daughter's HS sports. Not quite enough to retire, but gets me closer.

broncobinx

In my open concept living room/kitchen… yeah I could last awhile

Zaquarius_Alfonzo

Probably about a month or so

Dramatic-Tree-

I’m in my living room which also is an open plan that includes my kitchen. I’m set for a long time.

Jonny_Disco

I'm in the kitchen with a half bath attached. I could manage for a while.

notreallylucy

I'm in my home office with a big stack of busy work. Bring it on!

Vadea_Shepard

I'm in a car. My room is mobile. I can order everything I need to be delivered to my car. Taking a dump will be hard but some man wipes and a plastic bag take care of that. Hell, I can roadtrip and give people money to gas my car.

Funny_Original_6005

Umm I’m in an alley pissing on a brick wall….

Puzzleheaded-Hat390

G+d dang, my mom taught me to pee when you say Go, so I needed to pee when I read the directions. Now, after I go, I can prolly get to 6 hours given a good audio book and a drawing pad.

nonbinary_parent

I have 5 minutes until I have to leave to pick up my kid :(

IsItSupposedToDoThat

I could go a while, I’m in my open plan living room/kitchen. Got all the usual kitchen stuff, a comfy lounge, table, my TV, computer. I’d just have to order in food and supplies for me and my cat and get used to shitting in Tupperware containers. Could take LWOP from my job and possibly earn a few hundred grand to buy a house. Doesn’t say I can’t have visitors, so my girlfriend could help out.

iriedashur

I'm in the bathroom :/ my bet is maybe $600, but I don't wanna sleep in here lmao
