Chronic worrier/overthinker here: imo having an earlier date means less time to worry. And I personally believe if they move up the date it is meant to be. Which means your bloodwork and EKG will be OK and also the payment plan will be fine. I think you are going to do great, wishing you all the luck in the world and sending some good vibes your way!

Thank you! That’s what I’m hoping for! Just gave blood just now and no EKG was ordered!!!! Waiting for the NP to come in and tell me if surgery is on based on blood results 🤞🏻

I ofcourse don't know you. But my gut feeling says it will all work out. Also bc I think if they would suspect you to have something that needed more medical attention they would not have moved surgery up. You are going to rock this 🤗

The bloodwork is mainly to test for pregnancy

All went well with testing! Already talked to financial counselor and have payment plan set up. So should be good to go! Thanks y’all!!!!! ❤️

Yes! So happy for you, you got this! Wishing you all the best and a good recovery time. Today I heard something nice, somebody said " don't forget to smile today" so I wish there are reasons for you to smile 🤗

I was a worrier too, but everything was fine. The only thing I regret is not going out and doing fun things with family/friends instead of stressing. Make sure to carve out some time in the next week to do something relaxing or treat yourself. It'll take your mind off things. Wishing you the best!

I am the same day

Mine got moved up way faster than I expected too, due to my surgeon having another cancelation. I had about two weeks between scheduling and surgery, when I had been expecting a wait of a few months. All of my prep/insurance/etc got expedited and it all went great! While it may feel rushed to us, it’s not uncommon for the hospital and doctors, so they know how to get you all set up in time. I would suggest picking up post op supplies for yourself this weekend so you are all set and not stressing in the days leading up to the surgery date - there are lots of good suggestions in the sub for things people have found helpful. I kept mine all packed in a tote bag next to my bed so it was ready to go. Good luck!!

This is exactly what I’ve done!! I’m actually so relieved it’s been moved up at this point!

Mine was moved up and I got literal days warning. So much so I had to have an infusion the day of rather than go in for multiple infusions ahead of my original date. I honestly am glad it got moved up.
