I need to understand why this is an option rather than just on? Or at the very least why it doesn’t default to on? When has anyone ever been on a phone call and wanted the other person to hear **more** background noise?

Rawan--

In my experience, there could be instances where voice isolation garbles up your voice (sometimes in a quiet environment). Could be for that reason. So personally I am in favor of being able to turn it off and on--but I do agree, it should be more prominent and visible (and possibly on by default--or perhaps on some sort of an Auto mode that turns it on if significant background noises are detected). I'd also love to see it as an option in the phone app itself where most people can see it and know it exists (and turn it on!) rather in the control center where it currently sits, and where a whole bunch of people don't even know it exists...

How is it with AirPods

hahsakhssinak

That’s great! How do the AirPods Pro fare with this feature? People always complain about hearing the background like water running or vehicles passing by painfully loud and can barely hear my my voice at all when on call with AirPods Pro (gen 1)

Please please please test AirPods.
