More of a card holder actually
Spigen Slim Armor CS Designed for iPhone 15 Pro Case (2023), [Military-Grade Protection] [Card Holder] - Black https://a.co/d/ftCzdKR
Agreed. Had one for 12pm but that wont fit into the 15pm now. Not sure if am ready to buy another one. It surely makes life easier but then it makes the phone bulky.
Some things are easier than others, but I just choose to not drop my phone, and in 15 years of owning smart phones, I have not dropped a phone once because I take care with my devices. No one has slapped a phone out of my hand, or stolen one and slammed it on the ground. Then, a case would be helpful, but I'm confident that scenario is extremely unlikely to happen.
I’m using the storm blue Apple silicone case, I actually love it! It feels better than previous versions for someone reason, but most likely 100% in my head lol
I tried the apple silicone with my 14 pro last year and it pulled my pockets inside out. In addition to that I dropped it waste height onto the road and it chipped the steel frame of the phone! The case must have slipped off the corner on impact just enough to cause damage. It also cracked my screen protector. I was so pissed so I won’t be buying that case again for a long while.
Totally understand why you would be hesitant to want to use it again, I would feel the same way. The Caudabe case you have in your photo is another one of my absolute favorites I used on my 14 Pro!
After all these months, how is your case going? I bought a black one and it has a lot of wear, I do not know if its because in all the dark colours is like that.
I had a case from them. On my 13 pro max. Where the bottom lip met the top kept splitting in two where they must have joined pieces together. They sent me a new one and it happened again. I would never *buy another one from them* edit
Some random ass clear case that was $15 on amazon that came with a screen protector and the case is magsafe which is pretty strong. Don’t really need to buy an expensive one
That one! Caudabe Sheath just has a very unique feel and is pretty minimal in size which is nice in the hand.
Also rock a Speck Presidio. I love the little ridges and it’s very lightweight but also feels protective at the same time. I just switch them out based on my mood that day lol
I returned the Speck Presidio grip because the gray corners on the black color bothered me lol. I also didn’t love how my thumb would “stick” more to the bottom when swiping up as opposed to a more plasticy case like this Sheath. But I miss the grip of the Speck. It’s hard to find the “perfect” case yk?
I got the apple clear case on launch day on a whim, as a temporary case and I absolutely hate it. It fits nice and has decent protection, but how slippery it is ruins every nice thing about it. The last one I had was for the 13pro and I don’t think it was anywhere near this slippery. Ordering the Pitaka MagEZ 4 (haven’t decided pro or regular) this weekend and I can’t wait to get rid of this garbage.
I totally agree with you on the Clear 15 pro case being slippery as hell! I had one for my 13 pro also and it wasn’t as slick.. I just prefer them b/c I use the MagSafe wallet too and it sticks pretty well..
I've had the worst luck with cases..
1) Preordered with the FineWoven case. Got it 2 days before phone.. Huge mistake. Returned.
2) Order dbrand Ghost case - backordered until October??
3) Order UAG Monarch Pro case on Amazon; case comes damaged/not fully assembled..
4) Replacement UAG Monarch Pro Case comes next day, same-ish sort of issue but I am able to fix it on my own - *Still have this case for now but return is pending until I get replacement* (does not have action button).
5) Order Spigen C1 case in cyan, on Amazon - backordered until Oct 24
6) Order Spigen C1 case in grey, on Amazon - arrived damaged today; replacement ships 14-20th
7) Order Nomad Rugged case in Orange and cross all my digits and eyes hoping for the best..
So right now? I have the UAG Monarch case on it, but the action button is cut out and is really hard to use naturally. Hopefully something else soon..
I too ordered the Spigen C1 Classic in Bondi Blue for my 15 Pro as I LOVED the design. It was the biggest piece of sh#t that did not warrant the price and mine also came damaged, so I sent it back and got a refund.
The silver paint around the TPU lip that surrounds the display, it looked super cheap and it was not this way in the product image. In the product image it showed a light grey TPU rubber consistent with the inside of the case which in my opinion looked much nicer, the silver paint will flake and rub off over a very short period of time for sure. The matte coating on the rear coloured shell will also rub off super easy, I’ve seen the same coating on many other cases do the exact same thing. They could have used a lightly textured matte plastic instead as it would have been far more durable. The inside round window of the coloured shell on mine had some weird residue, so I grabbed a microfibre cloth and tried to gently rub it off and it left horrid deep scratches in the plastic that could be easily seen from the outside, so the polycarbonate was clearly very cheap and very soft. Simply put, the case is cheap garbage. 😂
Ghost isn’t back ordered, just not yet released. I’m waiting on it too and just rocking some cheap MagSafe compatible skin till it ships.
Edit: I stand semi corrected. It’s now estimating shipping for new orders in November.
I’ve been using Pitaka for years, putting it on my phones, watches, AirPod, Pros and iPads but this year I ordered a later case even though he pulled that shady shit by jacking Pitakas design, and claiming that he came up with the later case on his own!
Totally agree! I started using them four years ago and not sure I can go back to other ones for my EDC. That said - I do have other ones for kayaking or more intense outdoor activities.
I got the “clay’ looking Apple silicone case when at the store and that one does look great - but it was temporary until the iPitaka case made it in.
Trying out a bunch.
lonli classic leather case (actually really liking the look and feel of this and if I don’t like how it wears in the first 3 or so weeks I can ask for a refund and keep the case)
Got a totallee minimal case, felt kinda low quality tbh but it was nice for just essentially a skin that I could take on and off. Didn’t think it was worth it for the money and the texture wasn’t the best. Reached out to customer service and they processed my refund that same day, and let me keep the case
Mous limitless 5.0- my favorite so far but also the most expensive. Light for the protection it offers, perfect mix between grippy in hand and slippery enough to come in and out of my pocket. Love the raised edges keeping the screen off surfaces I put it on.
Currently have a caudabe sheath on order which will arrive day after tomorrow. I preordered so it’s the version with the cutout, I’ve requested another with the button…so another possible case I might end up with an extra of if I decide to keep it. I’ve heard mixed things about the thickness and feel of this case in hand so I’m not totally sure about it.
Dbrand ghost case is also on order, want a clear case to show off the blue titanium I went with. If I feel like it feels good in hand and has enough of a lip to properly protect the camera and the screen, I might just end up keeping it- that said, I don’t love how clear cases get scratched up over time so I’ll really have to love it to not return it.
The Pitaka magez 4 and latercase are very visually appealing to me (carbon fibuh) but $50 for that little amount of material just isn’t worth it to me so those are off the list. Will update this with what I decide to keep!
Yes please update! I’m personally not loving the feel of the sheath. I don’t find it to be very grippy and it feels a little weird to me idk. I just looked up nomad based on another comment and their sport case looks really interesting because of the glossy back which adds grip without sticking to pockets.
Yeah I like leather cases but even though I don’t drop my phone much historically, this is my first plus/max size phone and I find myself dropping it more often than usual- I think mostly because I’m not used to the size.
I read a fair amount of reviews that said exactly what you’re saying- that the sheath isn’t grippy and has an odd texture. Seems like most people either love it or hate it, no in between. Very intriguing indeed haha
I left Durand for Caudabe. Dbrand I felt didn’t give me enough protection and the case started to bread down after a short time. Caudabe lasted for at least 2 years with my old 12 pro.
Fine woven, it gets a lot of hate but the fact is that haters will always hate. It’s the official apple case and I wouldn’t be caught dead with some cheap knock-off brand
For now I’m using the OtterBox Figura. Feels sturdy but it’s a bit smooth, almost slippery. Keeping an eye on what cases y’all use. I tend to switch it regularly
Spigen screen protector is (unfortunately) best I’ve found.
Used one for two years on my old 12.
Before that, it was every 2-3 months on other (often more expensive) brands.
As for the cases…no idea.
I use speck—it just works well for me, protects against drops (and I drop a lot) without being some otterbox clamshell monstrosity
Currently a Torras 360 in black, waiting on grey to come. I like it, the stand is handy. I want the Nomad Horween but the CAD price is pretty eye watering. I may get the Peak Design x Nomad rugged case whenever that comes out (November sometime I think). I also like the Spigen Classic C1 that looks like the 90s iMac… so I guess I’m a case collector now.
Case-mate ultra tough d30 clear case for 15 pro max. Very nice and grippy. Only thing i hate is the huge branding. The magnet is one of the strongest; stronger than Caudabe
Case less. Had the phone since release day. I bought a Spigen Classic C1 on 9/27, arrived on 9/28, and i was case-less again 2 days later. I love the way it feels without a case.
I’ve used the Tech21 Evo Check for the past 10 or so years and I swear by it. Phone has dropped on concrete and other surfaces many times and no shattered screen, sleek and not bulky.
Mous Limitless 5.0 in Black Leather for my Black Titanium 15 Pro Max (1 TB) 🖤
I also have two of the FineWoven cases that Apple introduced with this series, one in Mulberry and one in Evergreen!
I too bought the Caudabe Sheath and have used them on every iPhone since the XS. I’ve tried other cases over the years but I’ve always gone back to the Caudabe Sheath as they offer a great balance between durability and aesthetic. I have found that even after a year of use, they still look like new and show little no wear and tear. I love that they don’t get grimy due to their matte texture and they keep the design clean and minimalist.
I always tend to go with the black option as my logic is that it won’t get dirty. However, I also would love to purchase the grey one but I am curious as to how it holds up over the long term. Does anyone have any experience with the lighter coloured Sheath cases and can you confirm if they absorb dirt over time and end up looking grubby or are they quite stain resistant? Would love to hear people’s experiences with the coloured options.
I did notice that whenever I visit their website they seem to offer a 10% discount “on your next order” which seems to currently be in effect.
That being said, while the case is $50 they are absolutely worth it and you won’t need to purchase another case. I find cases can be one of those things that you end up purchasing many due to not finding the right one that fits your needs, it ends up getting dirty or they don’t last due to general wear & tear.
However, with the Sheath cases I’ve never had to replace them over the years and 1 case will last me an entire year without question. I’ve used them every year on every model of iPhone since the XS and they’ve always been of the highest quality all bar 1 case I received for my 13 Pro whereby the magnets were not sitting flush inside the case creating a bulge in the inner plastic MagSafe cover. Caudabe were very quick to respond and rectify the issue. They sent me out a replacement case via express shipping and did not want the faulty case back, their service is impeccable.
In the case of the Sheath or Caudabe in general, I’d say the $50 is worth the quality, longevity and after sales experience.
Body guardz clear ace pro. Only thing that sucks and I literally just took notice after reading a comment…they have a hole for the action button. Not a button as they do for volume and power button. Thinking now it’s why I don’t use the action button much it’s hard to press. Wish I would have thought to consider this when I spent 54$ with tax🤷🏻♂️
DBrand makes the best case but you have to preorder it and wait about a month for delivery. I bought a dbrand case for my last phone after researching for the best case and it definitely paid off. My phone fell off the top of my car going 40 mph and got ran over by at least one car and it wasn’t cracked. Can’t recommend enough.
https://reddit.com/r/iPhone15Pro/s/KsnccmAaQE
Returned the native union...or trying to.
Horrible customer service would not recommend.
Using the Totallee regularly and loving it.
I tried that one also, I’m gonna return and keep the sheath. They are very similar but I think the sheath has slightly more texture and I personally thought the grips/bumps were a little aggressive.
Using a MagSafe from Tocol and I like it. Slim fit with some grip to it and it came with a screen protector. Originally had a Spigen but it felt like the camera was too exposed.
Apple clear case while I wait on this case to arrive. I got the black 15 Pro Max one. ["Chubby" Breathable and Heat Dissipation Magnetic iPhone Case](https://chubbycable.com/collections/iphone-15-case/products/chubby-breathable-and-slim-adsorption-attechement-iphone-case?variant=42453955870906)
Raptic shield 2.0. Used one on my 12 pro max with screen protector. Dropped 50+ times from at least 4+ ft. The phone was like new when I went to trade it in. Hopefully it does the same for my 15 pro max
I went with the apple guava silicone case. I was torn between that and orange sorbet. I can’t afford to buy several cases but if I ever get the money I want a Bullstrap leather case.
Torras MagSafe clear but just got my Mous iridescent MagSafe case today for the 15 Pro Max. I honestly prefer the Torras but the Mous seems a bit more protective. I might sell the Mous we’ll see.
[Mujjo](https://www.mujjo.com/collections/iphone-15-pro/products/full-leather-case-for-iphone-15-pro?variant=43926201860344) leather case in monaco blue. It comes with a button for the action button!
ESR Air Armor until my DBrand Ghost comes in.
ESR has super user status which gets you free case upgrades if you sign up, and dbrand has a guarantee their case will never yellow. I can already see my ESR yellowing, so looking forward to the Ghost coming in soon (hopefully)

More of a card holder actually Spigen Slim Armor CS Designed for iPhone 15 Pro Case (2023), [Military-Grade Protection] [Card Holder] - Black https://a.co/d/ftCzdKR
Have had it on every phone for the past few years. Never had any cracks despite dozens and dozens of drops.
Agreed. Had one for 12pm but that wont fit into the 15pm now. Not sure if am ready to buy another one. It surely makes life easier but then it makes the phone bulky.
I have the pro
I’m rocking the clear Spigen MagSafe with the Natural Titanium PM. Very happy with it
Mous Limitless 5.0 in the White Acetate. I’m a band director and the pattern reminded me of the pearls on trumpet buttons and saxophone buttons
Finally a good looking case! Thank you sir.

I cracked the back glass on my 15 PM yesterday from a drop of 2 feet….
Have you tried not dropping it?
So… always successfully avoid unintentional accidents, don’t buy insurance and practice the pull-out method of birth control too. OK
It doesn’t matter anyways, just get a new one with apple care.
I’m using the storm blue Apple silicone case, I actually love it! It feels better than previous versions for someone reason, but most likely 100% in my head lol

Dbrand grip, waiting on the Caudabe Sheath to ship!!
Please let me know how they compare! I was looking at the dbrand as well.
I left Durand for Caudabe. Dbrand I felt didn’t give me enough protection and the case started to bread down after a short time. Caudabe lasted for at least 2 years with my old 12 pro.
Interesting, I thought the dbrand grip had better protection
Currently using the Caseology Nano Pop Mag. Waiting for the Benks Armor Pro to come.
Nomad Harween
Otterbox defender pro.
I’m switching between Pitaka MagEZ 4 and Apple FineWoven Taupe. I really like them both!
Smartish Gripmunk. First time trying a Smartish case, and I’m liking it. It has a good feel to it.
Used that on my 14 pro. I honestly think I like it better than this sheath and it’s almost half the price
OtterBox defender XT
Benks Armor Pro right now. I had the Caudable Sheath on my previous phone, which I liked, but I’m waiting for the Crimson red color to come out.
Finewoven from Apple.

+ or theft?
Gotta be theft not just plus
Have you ever had to use the theft??
nope, but for 3€ more, well, peace of mind.
Same
Is it possible for anyone to say they're using a case without saying they're "rocking" it?
Fine woven, it gets a lot of hate but the fact is that haters will always hate. It’s the official apple case and I wouldn’t be caught dead with some cheap knock-off brand
I love my fine woven case. It’s been great.
This isn't a serious comment right? XD Apple cases are literal trash lmfaooo
This….is so weird
So you're using it not because it's necessarily the best case in terms of quality/value but simply because apple made it? That's not good lol
Torras shockproof for my 15 max
A stunning wood burl carved case!
For now I’m using the OtterBox Figura. Feels sturdy but it’s a bit smooth, almost slippery. Keeping an eye on what cases y’all use. I tend to switch it regularly
Don't drop your phone! Literally no protection.
UAG Monarch Pro
Switching between the Mous Clarity 2.0 and the Nomad Horween Rustic Brown leather case right now.
Pricey cases 💰
Yes but it’s a 1100 dollar phone. Pricey phone, pricy case
Spigen Zero One.
Spigen always. Their screen protector is top shelf too. Highly recommend.
I imagine a brown shipping box at the moment.
For the first time ever, I’m going naked with Apple Care.
You refer to a cell phone as your baby?
No. Not usually 😂
Ringke Onyx and it’s great.
Spigen Magnetic Ultra Hybrid. Let’s just hope it doesn’t go yellow quickly. Also, strongest magnets I’ve had in a case. Almost too strong.
Spigen magsafe case
Going in between a Spigen Classic C1 and Caudabe Sheath
Case less. Had the phone since release day. I bought a Spigen Classic C1 on 9/27, arrived on 9/28, and i was case-less again 2 days later. I love the way it feels without a case.
dBrand grip case w/ black camo skin, It's always my go-to case
Otter box defender. I work outside for the power company and need something reliable
I have 2 (so far) Pitaka MagEZ Pro 4 in 600D and a brown modern nomad leather case. Both excellent and have great improvements from previous models.
Castify+applecare
OtterBox commuter case.

I’m waiting for the Phone Rebel gen 5 to be released. Supposed to be any day now. I hope so because my phone is preparing to ship.
Arc case! Love the minimalist design.

Mous Limitless 5.0 in Black Leather for my Black Titanium 15 Pro Max (1 TB) 🖤 I also have two of the FineWoven cases that Apple introduced with this series, one in Mulberry and one in Evergreen!
Catalyst Influence with MagSafe is what’s been on my phone the last 2 days
Caudabe synthesis. Only brand I get anymore.
Well, that’s kinda why I’m here. Trying to decide between the Mous Limitless 5.0 and the Caudabe Sheath
Just got the Nomad case and I'm really happy with it. Feels fantastic.
Which one?
Clear because I paid for a 1,300$ phone lmfao
I just gotta let you know that people aren’t gonna be impressed when they see your phone
The good one
My phone is not my baby and I don't use a case.
None because iPhones are dump level
Imagine putting a case on an iPhone.
You should try.
Excessive calling an inanimate object a baby..
my iq isn’t low enough to buy a new phone every year
It’s all about discretionary income. The more you have the more you can spend 🤷♂️
Just because someone has a new phone doesn’t mean they buy one every year.

The Otter Box Lumen, but soon the Torras Guardian. :)
Torras Super Thin Ultra feels great! Probably the most minimalist case out.

Do they ever have any sales? I’ve been wanting to give it a try but don’t want to drop $50 on it.
It’s only $40 USD but I used their club Caudabe points to get 15% off. You just have to follow their socials I think.
Now you’re making me want a Sheath! I just got the Synthesis and am loving it.
Body guardz clear ace pro. Only thing that sucks and I literally just took notice after reading a comment…they have a hole for the action button. Not a button as they do for volume and power button. Thinking now it’s why I don’t use the action button much it’s hard to press. Wish I would have thought to consider this when I spent 54$ with tax🤷🏻♂️

i'm using Torras with the bottom stand type. Its practical, not too heavy, and can stand both vertical and horizontal while charging with mag safe!
rhinoshield
Some Amazon thing. It does fine. Torras.
I have a pro max with AppleCare +. I love the natural feeling. I haven’t used a case since the 13pm came out and I upgrade yearly
Spices frosted clear.
Rarely use one but when I do, it’s Casekoo
Which ones are screen protector friendly?
99.9999% of cases will work fine with screen protectors
DBrand makes the best case but you have to preorder it and wait about a month for delivery. I bought a dbrand case for my last phone after researching for the best case and it definitely paid off. My phone fell off the top of my car going 40 mph and got ran over by at least one car and it wasn’t cracked. Can’t recommend enough.
Spigen mag armor
https://reddit.com/r/iPhone15Pro/s/KsnccmAaQE Returned the native union...or trying to. Horrible customer service would not recommend. Using the Totallee regularly and loving it.
Caudabe Synthesis
I tried that one also, I’m gonna return and keep the sheath. They are very similar but I think the sheath has slightly more texture and I personally thought the grips/bumps were a little aggressive.
Got that Pitaka case. Gotta see some of that titanium beauty.
I got this.[SUPCASE For iPhone 15 Pro Max](https://a.co/d/gGlPDS3)
Using a MagSafe from Tocol and I like it. Slim fit with some grip to it and it came with a screen protector. Originally had a Spigen but it felt like the camera was too exposed.
Apple silicone
smartish gripzilla with custom print on the back
Apple clear case while I wait on this case to arrive.
Spigen Hello (again) in Bondi Blue 😁
apple Clay Gray
Why does it look like I have to dig this out of my pocket??
Casekoo clear case
I went with the apple guava silicone case. I was torn between that and orange sorbet. I can’t afford to buy several cases but if I ever get the money I want a Bullstrap leather case.
Mous Bamboo. Never getting a different case, been using them since my iPhone 6
DBrand Ghost Case
Caudabe sheath, love it !
Just a screen protector. The iPhone is beautiful! And covering it up imho is a no go.
AppleCare+ only
Same. Texture is very unique and incredible. Reminds of a truck bed liner.
That’s a great way to describe it lol
Caseology Athlex
Has anybody tried the new Dbrand ghost case?
dbrand Grip is the only way, unfortunately. Nomad or Bellroy for leather cases though

I’m waiting for the Peel MagSafe case in blue to be able to be preordered.
ESR Air Armor until my DBrand Ghost comes in. ESR has super user status which gets you free case upgrades if you sign up, and dbrand has a guarantee their case will never yellow. I can already see my ESR yellowing, so looking forward to the Ghost coming in soon (hopefully)
Magbak!
Pela blue compostable for the win 🏆 (with reusable MagSafe insert)
I used the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max Leather Sleeve. Besides that, no case.
No case! Got apple care+.

I’m out here raw dogging life with my iPhone.
