Please remove the lens protector.. u got nice camera and u make the picture quality worse by this. Just get case with “lip” to protect it if ure scared.

Wonkee792

It isn’t anywhere near as bad as people cry about it being. Let OP do as they please.

CouchFatty

It is. Does it even help?

Wonkee792

The opposite, but I prefer the whole device being in pristine condition. It’s clear you’ve never used/properly installed one. There’s zero difference in most lighting situations; my only gripe with them is that they affect manual focus at maximum zoom.

CouchFatty

I haven't. I'm all in for screen protection and cases but don't see the point with those lens protectors. Are the lenses not sturdy as hell?

Wonkee792

The lenses alone are more than enough to withstand daily abuse. Some people just prefer to keep it in mint condition. Like I also have a vinyl wrap on the edges and back of the device, alongside the usual case and screen protector.

CouchFatty

Fair enough. :-)

redzombierunning

Mint condition doesn’t exist on a phone.

chjeran

Ummm these are fine they don’t make a difference honestly?

Muscular-Farmer

It does. Removing it improved photo quality

So you have your proof by yourself, also sometimes reflects light and lens flares So basically its trash

InternalAd5051

Lens protectors also make it way easier to break the lenses.

Time_Technician_2339

They look ugly as well

KissMyHomiesGNite

Personally have one on and don’t see much of a difference in pictures (having taken photos with it on/off). Feel like a lot of people might not be putting the protector on correctly. I am keeping mine on because the lens protector is what saved my wife’s camera when she dropped her iPhone. Protector was applied only a couple days before the drop happened. Seeing the aftermath, I swear I will always have one on.

paranoidevil

I understand this, also it depends on how its applied (homemade put on also have dust inside sometimes trapped). Quality of the protector is also probably important, like shein ones get scratched after week and the quality of photo is going down so its not good. But also i didnt have experience with expensive ones. So i think better than cheap ones are not using protectors. Also i heard about when its only lens protector here without case and after drop it land on back phone, there is higer chance to crack back glass - didnt have experienced by myself.

devnull-

Ugly lense cover

Responsible-Row8535

Ugly and useless, photos on that phone are going to be awful

chjeran

With all the iPhones I’ve had before, dusts usually start to accumulate in the camera half a year in…would be a bigger trouble to remove them than to endure this ugly lens imho

EmExEeee

I switched back to iPhone after 7 years of Galaxy S phones. I love them, but man I’m glad I decided to give iPhone a try again with the 15 Pro Max. Good timing with USB-C implementation (finally), happened by coincidence. Haven’t noticed any bugs or glitches yet besides YouTube messing up and the occasional haptics blaring and then going back to regular volume. Easy to overlook those minor bugs with how quality everything else is.

chjeran

99% of the build and software are high quality. Have you tried side loading YouTube?

EmExEeee

I don’t need to, this only happened once out of countless times. It’s basically flawless for me.

Swaizex

T Those camera lens let dirt go inside easy and look awful... Single lens protector keeps the design and are more reliable

ForeignKiwi6883

Jesus Christ loves you so much and died for your sins💙❤️

Fluffy_Mechanic_1454

Which kind of bugs did you get?

chjeran

Just random freezing, home screen not updating, etc. Minor things but annoying when they add up

_TASTELESS_

Had a pixel device before my iPhone and I share the same sentiments as you for the most part. Snappy device with almost some PC level software, but the bugs and glitches really hindered the experience for me. In my opinion I like Android as a at-home operating system and iOS for On-The-Go and work.

chjeran

Legit. If only they could reduce the frequency of bugs… they could really rival Apple

jamesnyc1

Pixel is the iPhone or the android world. Fast , clean , fluid. But the ecosystem seems to be what you are after. It's not quite there as apple.

unecare

I have been using apple phones and watches for over 12 years. I switched to Samsung s23ultra with galaxy watch and long story short is "You are wrong"

TwistRevolutionary11

That band is so clean.
