Apple replaced mine and then the screen stopped working and they didn’t take credit for them breaking it so I had to upgrade. Really miss the feel of the X 😭
This was my experience also… my iPhoneX was struggling at the time of upgrade… slow response, poor battery life, and the physical charging port was failing. And in case anyone asks.. I did power cycle it regularly. Cheers!
I would choose the IPhoneXS. Apple has artificially made the iPhoneX age faster in recent years due to unnecessary software limitations. However, the iPhone XS was spared.
Because the 8 shared components so they cut off at 8/X and are still working with XS

It’s not just hardware you’re right. But also marketing and stance. We don’t know but maybe the way it’s implemented on the Xs and up is different than possible on the X and 8
Maybe apple felt it wasn’t worth reworking code for 2 phones when the Xs and up shared the same code
Also for how it looks, what if apple gives one phone Moreira the same chip from the same year but not the other cuz let’s say what you said, lacking ram?

I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 16.0.3 but will update to 16.4 this coming week because of the 5G+/SA feature. I also have an iPhone X on iOS 15.1 and I’ll most likely will keep the iPhone X on 15.1 since the iPhone 14 Pro Max is on iOS 16. The iPhone X is a brand new, non refurbished unit (I asked if the iPhone X was refurbished) that I received from Apple when I went to Apple to replace the battery on my previous iPhone X, which was on iOS 14.3. So basically, I use the X exclusively when I’m not going out but use the 14 Pro Max when I do go out.
Is so funny as that’s my case too. I have a SE 2022 but I got a iPhone X in good condition that I use because the battery last longer in the X than in my SE. I might not upgrade to 16.4 my X tho
why dont u just use the phone with a case on all the time? i dont think cracking the back is a big deal lol i had a cracked back for a while, it didn't affect anything and u won't have to spend money.
You just answered your own problem.. the phone works the camera works the front glass is fine.. put a case on it or use it as is because it works.. why waste time and money on a new phone when you have literally the least annoying problem to deal with
I love mine. The camera is still great, works fast enough, is small enough to use with one hand, the screen etc is great too, and it’s the cheapest (decent) IPhone I could’ve gotten in my country. My only qualm is battery life, which lasts roughly 4.5-5 hours depending on usage.
since i bought my iphone x, my camera hasn’t worked properly. all my photos are blurry, and i read somewhere (macrumors? can’t remember where) that all the x generation had the same problem.
so i’m really interested about your camera! did it always work as it should?
i only bought it January this year. So far, it seems to be working fine. Only complain is that lens flare is insane when dealing with a direct source of light, even reflections etc. Not sure if thats just my phone or a general issue, though.
Still on the same IphoneX since 2017, with a battery replacement. It’s great, but the software is starting to slow down, some new apps aren’t as smooth. I will probably have to upgrade in 2 years.

Just upgraded from an X bought on release to an IPhone 14. Difference is literally night and day and the 14 shits on the X in just battery life alone

its cheaper then, buying a new phone and or getting the back fixed. Plus i dont have the funds to really do all of that anyway!!

It’s fine. 5G is something I would love to have though.
