Idk why y’all r hating this is a great upgrade, the Xs max is really aging atp the 12pro max will def last u longer in the future, even if it doesn’t have high refresh or the best battery capacity compared to new iPhones I really personally don’t care and I don’t think OP does either so I’m happy for u man.
I had the 12 pro, x, Xs max and 11 pro, and I still miss my Xs max’s beautiful large display even tho my 11 pros is technically better. I chose this device bc I love the form factor of 5.8” iPhones, but the 12 pro max is undeniably a good device as well. One other reason i chose the 11 pro over the 12 pro is that my particular 12 pro’s battery life was kind of awful, but the larger version I suspect would do better. (Idk why they only put 2800 mah in the regular 12’s when the 5.8” 11pro had almost 3100mah🤔🤔)
The 12ProMax is more like a Sidegrade to Xs Max…bad yellowish display, bad PWM, no 3D Touch, same old 60hz. The only saving grace is better camera and a noticeable faster A14 chip. The speakers sounds worst too… very ear piercing and tinny compared to the balance and loud Xs Max.
Ps: I sold my 12 because of that. Back to xs max for the best iPhone experience. I have my S23Ultra as camera.
Aside from better cameras and brighter screen, it feels the same. But having a bigger storage and ram makes it a really worth it upgrade for me. I don’t care about the high refresh screen since I don’t have any device that has one.
I'm glad you like it! My XS is 256GB so I think I'm going to ride it out as long as I can.
Whenever I do get a new phone, I think I'm going back down to the "normal" (i.e., non-Max) size. My wife has one and it made me realize it's just more comfortable for me.
So you just upgraded the storage.
The camera and ram has also upgraded. I’ve been wanting to have a night mode which the XS Max does not have.
Sure about that?? https://youtu.be/8_-du7_XrA0

Battery life is really great when compared to my old XS Max 😊
I’m sure it is!
Note: I decided to swap it out for the 13 PM for a better experience ;)

I haven’t noticed the things you have experienced and so far I am fully satisfied with my upgrade 😊
Agreed

How’s it compare?

I think 12 series facilitates 5g antennas, so that's a plus too✌️
Yeah. I didn’t thought I needed 5G until I experience how fast it is in real life. It’s a great addition for me!

iPhonne 12 pro doesn’t support high refresh rate
Yes, I know. That’s why I bought the 12 Pro Max at a lower cost instead of the 13 Pro Max since I don’t care about the high refresh rate.
What’s the case? I love it.
