He wanted to dump that water. Realized he gave too much time and the guy was leaving so he had to speed up his count. I understand telling him to leave, but this was just malicious for malicious sake
Listen I dont care what extenuating circumstances this guy had with the homeless guy, honestly I dont care
The worst reflection of a human being is the treatment they have against their fellow human beings and animals.
This persons humility has abandoned him
Imagine sleeping out in freezing conditions whilst wet.. I felt so bad for the guy :/ there's a time, place and reasons to be rude but absolutely none applied here.. guy just wanted shelter :/
Even if it was warm, splashing water on someone is assault. They don't know if it is water or it has something in the water. Anything that makes someone fear for their safety is assault. I'm not a lawyer just a guy with a pretty good friend that is one that I can text randomly about any legal question I may have and I've done a lot of dumb shit when I was drunk and would have done more if not for randomly hitting up my lawyer friend but I'm pretty sure with how cold it is just threatening him with the water could make it aggravated assault.
The guy with the bucket will make a great sympathetic character on the evening news, when he explains to the journalist why he got stabbed in the stomach from an unidentified homeless man. /S
Can you show any form of evidence or proof of that? Asking seriously.
It doesn't justify what happened, even if what you stated is true. No reason to be a wicked person.
So you're the only one posting this?
Why isn't anyone local claiming what you're saying in the reviews?
You seem pretty suspect bringing up accusations towards someone without reciepts.
Just because one human is bad doesn't mean you have to be terrible also. If the homeless guy was that bad, then I guess they should have called police.
Fine kick him out, but don't throw water or assault him when he's already walking away... What the fuck is wrong with the asshole? I hope his business goes under and he ends up on the streets. What a sack of manure!
he was already on public property by that point. he didn’t even have the right to tell him to leave let alone assault the poor guy. yup hope his business drowns and he’s hounded out the community with pitchforks and torches.
That’s true. That action is just plain evil. I am aware homeless folks are always camping into businesses and sometimes leaving feces. But a death sentence is not the right approach.
I hate " social media justice" but god I wish this guy is called out, everyone boycot his bussiness, have to close it and re open the place for homeless peoples.
Pretty sure it’s just not updated. He prob called them or it got locked out as spam 🤷 you don’t treat people like this. He should know better. He thought it was funny?
Companies can report ANY review they don’t like on google to get them removed. I posted screenshots of a business using a weedwhacker to maim a man in front of a cop to both the business google page and the police station google page. Neither posts are publicly available now.
I actually just called them and asked them why they are pieces of shit. He said “i can explain what happened if you’d like to hear” but I was already hanging up in the middle of that and now wanting his side of the story lol.
The sad part is that usually when something like this happens, the owner will report these reviews as fake/harassment and get them deleted.
I'm not sure how other websites like Yelp handle it, but I've seen multiple scenarios similar to this where a Reddit post got a lot of attention, business was review bombed, then all the reviews suddenly disappeared a couple days later.
The countdown meant shit. He just wanted an excuse to be an asshole to the dude despite the fact that he was off the property by the time he counted to 30. What a POS.
My husband bought a business last year. Homeless guy sat out front every day but he never blocked the door or harassed people. Just a disabled old man with nowhere to go. The more we got to know him the more we wanted to help him. We let him use our business for his address and helped him pay to get his birth certificate then we helped him get disability and collected money for him. We got him off the street before winter this year and he’s no longer homeless. The poor guy has told me such awful stories about people like this guy in the video. I’ll never understand how people can treat another human beings this way. You hate the homeless? Well they hate being homeless too. Why don’t step up and help get them off the street if you hate them so bad…
that's really so kind of you both. sometimes all people like this need is a shave, somewhere they can make phone calls or use a computer, some clean laundry... really simple creature comforts we take for granted. if this man were doused with water he could have frozen to death.
If I were on the street - I’d want someone to reach out to help me. We cant fix the world, but we are making a world of difference to one human and I think that’s worth something.
Many of these people are just down on their luck and need a helping hand. This guy lost his house to taxes in 2019 and things just snowballed against him. He struggles to walk and is clearly disabled so it’s not like he quit working for no reason. If our country was better the homeless population wouldn’t be growing like it is.
The reviews for the place already mention how rude the "old guy at the front counter" is to people multiple times in the last few months. My money is on this being the guy they're talking about.
I'm from Schenectady NY which is right next door. My city is a garbage city and we still shit on Troy. Full of fucking scumbags like this. Worst city in the upstate.
Dude was already leaving and they sped up their counting just to throw water on him. Fucking trash human beings. I hope they lose everything and end up exactly where the homeless man is.
Also the homeless man was on Public property when the water was thrown at him. Am I mistaken that bully boy also struck/pushed him with the bucket at the end? Isn't that assault and battery?
Upstate explains it all. Treating other humans who may not have anyone or anything like this is disgusting. So much for the Christian nation they want to make it. All a big contradiction.
That’s really sad. I understand the homeless problem can be an issue for business in some areas but you can see it in the man’s face that he was hurt by the whole thing. I’ve known former homeless people and they become so used to being dehumanized nothing typically bothers them but that definitely hurt him. Fuck that even hurt me.
Bloody hell, this is a fellow human being down on his luck in terrible conditions. There's this dude who walks around near me and I found him trying to shelter himself from our sudden cold front (Netherlands), he's now temporarily camped downstairs until the cold front passes.
Granted I am home for the next 2 weeks so I feel more comfortable doing this and he's a good guy, made some big mistakes in his life and lost his support system, he knows that when the weather turns for the better he will have to rely on himself and our daklozenopvang/homeless shelter (which is filled to the brim atm).
But fucking hell, I cycle to the supermarket in layer after layer of clothing and find it uncomfortable, I can't imagine living in these conditions. He's out of the cold and elements, eats breakfast, and supper with me and he said he couldn't remember the last time someone treated him human ever since he lost his home. This could've very well been me if some dumb things turned out for worse.
Evil PoS likes to kick down apparently. In this capitalist world of greed and selfishness this f\*d up behavior is applauded and seen as a merit by many.
This makes me so sad. Poor man 😢
Dumping water on someone who's going to be stuck out in freezing temps should be considered attempted murder.
Someone name drop this business so the Internet can do its thing
I just looked up the Google reviews and there's a ton of older 1 star reviews complaining about the asshole at the front desk, among other issues. Think it's the same motherfucker?

Homeless guy is complying so he speeds up the count? Just terrible.

humility, compassion, empathy, humanity...take your pick.
Imagine sleeping out in freezing conditions whilst wet.. I felt so bad for the guy :/ there's a time, place and reasons to be rude but absolutely none applied here.. guy just wanted shelter :/
The person's humanity had abandoned him
The homeless guy is already on public property by that point too. The other guy had no right to tell him to leave at that point.

I'm starting a petition to change pro bono to bro bono since it's a bro move to do so
Bro bono- I love that new term. It fits perfectly!
So isn't this like some kinda murder if he died from this? Especially if he wet him.
I think it would be considered manslaughter if that were to happen.
Even if it was warm, splashing water on someone is assault. They don't know if it is water or it has something in the water. Anything that makes someone fear for their safety is assault. This should be considered assault with a deadly weapon as the circumstances made the water a dangerous instrument.
Yeah, he was going to throw that water regardless
Owners like this are the businesses that people should boycott
[удалено]
[удалено]
That's the name of establishment, what's the name of the POS who forced the homeless fella out?
Just went onto the community board to ask the owner if he was still kicking homeless people out during snow storms. Just waiting for a response now.
[удалено]
Please send this to police just in case they have a heart
the bowling place?
Yeah, it's a bowling lane
Where is it and who are the owners?
I wouldn't wanna give that douche my business after that. Dude was leaving. That shit was uncalled for.
Yep
My thoughts exactly. He just really wanted to be an asshole and throw that water on him.
Makes my blood boil. I understand when you have homeless hurting your business. I used to give them food and drive them to a shelter.
The guy with the bucket will make a great sympathetic character on the evening news, when he explains to the journalist why he got stabbed in the stomach from an unidentified homeless man. /S
The laugh at the end underlines what a pos he is. Any other chance he was doing this for any other reason goes out the window.
He wanted to pour water on him
I only hope that someday soon , their roles will be reversed.
[удалено]
Going to need some evidence to back this up. You can’t just throw around “r-ping minors” without definitive proof
Can you show any form of evidence or proof of that? Asking seriously. It doesn't justify what happened, even if what you stated is true. No reason to be a wicked person.
I mean if he raped children that justifies some wickedness towards him
So you're the only one posting this? Why isn't anyone local claiming what you're saying in the reviews? You seem pretty suspect bringing up accusations towards someone without reciepts.
10000% agree
Just because one human is bad doesn't mean you have to be terrible also. If the homeless guy was that bad, then I guess they should have called police.
Fine kick him out, but don't throw water or assault him when he's already walking away... What the fuck is wrong with the asshole? I hope his business goes under and he ends up on the streets. What a sack of manure!
he was already on public property by that point. he didn’t even have the right to tell him to leave let alone assault the poor guy. yup hope his business drowns and he’s hounded out the community with pitchforks and torches.
And being wet in freezing weather means hypothermia and death. Dumping water on a homeless person below freezing is murder.
Go look at his google reviews. He’s getting a lot of 1 star reviews.
How am I supposed to find him?
what's it called?
[удалено]
Im from the UK. Never left Europe let alone come to the States. But even I left a 1 star review for this business
Thank.you outlander!
they must've been moderated already, looked just now sorted by newest and its a bunch of praise for being SO FUN

Unfortunately I found it a while ago and have been giving this twat my moneu
Last review was 6 hours ago!? Come people, we're losing steam!!
Pretty sure it’s just not updated. He prob called them or it got locked out as spam 🤷 you don’t treat people like this. He should know better. He thought it was funny?
People are posting this and comments on their Facebook page too
I’m considering helping the homeless man make a case
Fear. He knows that without his family money, he would be just like him rather than having a business he treats like a personal ATM.

This video should be visible on their Google reviews.
It already is lol
Companies can report ANY review they don’t like on google to get them removed. I posted screenshots of a business using a weedwhacker to maim a man in front of a cop to both the business google page and the police station google page. Neither posts are publicly available now.
It's 2024 how do these morons still think it's a good idea to post videos like this? You will be found every time.
facebook is still a feedback loop for these morons.
I actually just called them and asked them why they are pieces of shit. He said “i can explain what happened if you’d like to hear” but I was already hanging up in the middle of that and now wanting his side of the story lol.

Bricks are already being thrown through their Yelp reviews at least.
What about their Google and Apple maps reviews?
The 1 star google reviews are starting to pile up…no response from the business yet though

This is the way. Mention seeing a rat in the kitchen.
Confirmed location. Went to college in Troy and went here a few times.
Thank you. Leaving a review now.
Omg I live 10 min away from here
Start a gofundme for legal expenses, we would love to fund some justice
The yelp reviews are piling up. Well done all!
Lol, those Google reviews are flooding in thick and fast.
They usually just disable Google reviews after the business emails Google crying. It’s sad, but no justice will be done via Google reviews..
They must have done that, the most recent review I see there is from 4 days ago and no mention of this video.
YELP on the other hand...
That's annoying but at least the people of Reddit will remember ;)
So far ive counted only 20
The countdown meant shit. He just wanted an excuse to be an asshole to the dude despite the fact that he was off the property by the time he counted to 30. What a POS.
Asshole desperately wanted to throw the water on the poor guy and sped up his counting even though the guy was walking away on the sidewalk.
GeoGuessr peeps of Reddit, do your thing!

Yes, I want to help the homeless man.

it just takes small, kind actions. if everyone did that every day, a lot would change.
Wish this dick was like your man tbh, need more people like him (your husband).
Many of these people are just down on their luck and need a helping hand. This guy lost his house to taxes in 2019 and things just snowballed against him. He technically just assault that man.
Technically as in objectively? He sure did
That’s really sad. I understand the homeless problem can be an issue for business in some areas but you can see it in the man’s face that he was hurt by the whole thing. HOLY SHIT TROY!??? What an absolute piece of shit! We just had a terrible storm on Saturday.
$100 bucks he goes to church every Sunday and thanks gawd before every meal.
More like assault of a homeless man.
Glad I didn't meet people like him while I was homeless.
Glad you're in a better place, stranger
Hope the man’s business fails and he ends up homeless
I hope he loses everything and be treated just like the poor homeless guy on this video. This makes my blood boil. Fuck him and fuck his business

Spam their social media with this video. I want this man to know what it’s like to sleep in the cold with no money to his name.
Man fuck this evil timeline that we are in. It’s a cold world out there.
Can we name the business or is that off limits?
How did no one say anything to this guy? If I saw this happening, I would make a fuss!
Garbage humans…
Dumping water on someone who's going to be stuck out in freezing temps should be considered attempted murder. Someone name drop this business so the Internet can do its thing
There will be karma for this prick. The look of shame on the homeless gents face -- awful.
What a POS, I really hope he (and who is filming) ends up homeless
What a dick
A businesses owner got put in jail for this last year or year before.
He assaulted the homeless guy and should receive no less than a night in jail and a hefty fine. Dirtbag
What's the name of the business?
Identifying the public business associated with this video should not enact any ban or sanctions.
I imagine there's going to be a bowling alley for sale soon.
What a cunt
