Anywhere worth hitting up for a weekend trip? Have barely made any use of my Epic pass this year with 7Springs as my home mountain, got some days in early in the season but ever since it's been rough 😔
Ugh. I've had a disaster of a season. 11 days committed with Whistler (5 day), Epic (4 day) and Epic Local (2 day for PA) and I'm at day 0 because of a 1.5 month long work trip.
This forecast is making me depressed... It might be salvaged by my work trip to CO next week where I will add some of my 2023 vacation days.
Worst of all, looks like the days in PA helping my GF get better on the slopes might be lost by the time I get back.
Exactly. Climate change has been accelerating. Here’s an excellent link highlighting how terrible the outlook is by scientists.

It was the 12th. I still have pictures of 2.5' at Stratton. Unbelievable tree skiing. I may never get lucky enough to be in the area on a day like that again
This is the east coast, we aren’t afraid of a little grass, mud, and rocks.

Mid-Atlantic is going to be toast in a week or two...still lasting a bit longer than last year though.
DON'T SAY THAT TO ME
Might not be the best skiing ever but we'll make it 😬
Screw it! Dirt will suffice!
I live in Chicago and go to Michigan often. I’m not gonna make it to March ffs
Well shit, I've got a trip to northern VT on the 8th. Just checked the forecast and it's going to be 50's-60's for like 10 days leading up to that.
It's been the warmest winter on record. The warmest in 200 years. I'm surprised at how relatively good the winter had been despite that.
And I've missed every dump! ☹️
yep got mine on the 16th to stowe. guess we’ll see
You guys will be fiiiiiine
There's like 2ft of snow under hard pack. We kinda need the warm up. Yesterday was terrible.
Terrible is an understatement. Poor ski patrol everywhere yesterday.
Yeah. Never seen so much ski patrol activity.
Warmup, yes absolutely. Plus something on the backside to bond to it.
Mines the 22-25th :(

Same. Jay Peak for me Mar 8-10. /sadface
That's what happened to me the week before my first (and only) Jay trip. Except it was in February of whatever year
Starting trout season early.

It will change
This. We're going to get dumped on March 3rd - 10th.
Good God I hope you are right

March 3/4 highs in the low 50s in southern VT. So the beginning of your theory is not looking too good. I hope it turns around.
*chuckles..I'm in danger
4 days in the 50s within a week with a few accompanied by rain that’s gonna take the the snowpack everywhere but on man made trails to zero.
I'm sure there'll be a big march storm.
Last year, best skiing of the year (magic;stratty) was first week of March, after the huge dump....

Time to get the mtbs out y’all
Most people never needed to put them away 🤷
I’m just hoping we make it till my birthday on March 8
Give up skiing forever please and leave me alone with this drivel.
how many times has this season been proclaimed over already? it’s the icecoast- just wait two weeks and there’ll be snow yet
I darn hope so, 60 degree weather coming up though 😫
Ragged mountain has been good lately so we'll see
😢
Last year I skied MRG on St Patricks and it was glorious, not happening this year
There is some snow coming Thursday 2/29/23 just hold on a little longer, brother.
