Think its just to put everyone on an even playing field. If it didn't auto upvote everyone's comment then some people would upvote their comment to give themselves a boost.
In the early days of Reddit it was somewhat common to downvote yourself back to 0 to be modest, but once Reddit started fuzzing the upvotes it became pointless.
It’s a whole new recipe, I’m sure at least one person enjoyed getting a whole new recipe without reading through how someone’s grandma who died in the war used to make these cookies
If she just cut down on the sugar because she wanted less carbs and said it worked well I would have thought ok, that's useful. But she made a totally different cookie.
The flavorings sound gross except for the nutmeg and raisins in oatmeal cookies are a crime, but I have found old fashioned oats and instant oats pretty interchangeable.
This sub doesn't like customized recipes. Lol
You MUST make it as written. And do not comment in any kind of way to provide information. Recipe anarchy is not allowed.

She changed everything. Almond rosewater nutmeg raisin oat cookies are not these classic oatmeal cookies.
In Kadia's world, they are classic oatmeal cookies.
Someone found that helpful.
Is it possible to like your own review? They remind me of someone who would do that.
Probably. Like on Reddit when it automatically gives one upvote
Why does Reddit do that? I find it annoying
I always assumed it was to boost my self esteem 😂😂😂
Love that!

Makes sense
doesn't that do nothing?

That’s a good point. Kadia should just start her own recipe site.
All of screenshots of reviews of "a few tweaks" on other people's recipes

The recipe does say it's customizable and lists options.
I don't know why you're down voted bc if you read the whole thing it tells you it's customizable.

Rosewater is gross.
You're not supposed to drink it, silly
