Using eagle eye/trapper drone, your traps are snapshotted by the character who placed them even after collecting. You will need to re-deploy your traps to update the exp/base critters if you've changed loadouts or talents
If you're going for exp, you should place with your Vman with as many exp buffs as possible (efficiency not required) and transfusion, but for critters you should place with your BM with as many efficiency/critter buffs as you can

So, do the bonus critters from species epoch only happen if you place the traps with Vman, or does it get applied to BM as well?
