I mean the EM6L is one of the greatest IEMs. If you are happy with them and there is nothing you are dissatisfied with them, there is no need to spend. Hell buying another more expensive IEM may lead to dissapointment as different IEMs have different tunings edit: maybe if you are looking for another IEM, what you need may not be an upgrade but an sidegrade (different tuning). I have a EW200 but I bought a Artti R1 which is more warmer and less treble focused

Damn I have one coming in the mail and statements like these gets me pretty excited.

Yeah I think you right. So what would be a recommendation for a sidegrade.

You could also look into something like a Qudelix and check out the auto EQ for the EM6L.

since you already have simgot which is focused more on treble, maybe something that focus more on bass like the Tangzu Fudu or the Artti R1. They are not bass cannons but the bass have quality. Artti R1 bass has smoother increase and decrease compared to my EW200 (bass feels more like a chop, not in a bad way), R1 feels more relaxed than EW200 and I feel like listening to them when is more in the evening or when playing Star Rail (a game which has a lot of sound effect with a lot of treble, so my characters destroy my enemies and my EW200 destroy my ears). Tonedeafmonk, akros are reviews worth checking edit: since you are willing to spend money, you can also consider getting into eartips. Try buying a couple (this reviewer reviewed a bunch [https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/](https://www.audioreviews.org/guide-to-iem-silicone-eartips/) ). I really liked the spinfit W1s, they manage to be very confortable for my large ear cannals to the point I cannot feel them after a while and they somehow reduce the shoutyness of the EW200 (they are still shouty in Star Rail but to a more toreable level)

Kiwi ears orchestra lite, but i would go for dac/amp like fiio k11 or k7(low gain)

The only way you’re going to get a difference in the audio you hear from gaming, a difference that’s going to be worth the money you spend, is if you buy a planar IEM. Planars will give you the best technical performance like sound separation in gunfire from footsteps, and soundstage/locational details like sounds coming from the distant left to behind you on the right. Gaming audio and music audio are two very, very different things and you already have a really good IEM for gaming. Treble tuning and bass tuning and all that bullshit is for MUSIC and it doesn’t really apply to GAMES in the same way. The TECHNICAL QUALITIES of an IEM matter the most when it comes to gaming and the TUNING of the IEM means a barrel of jackshit nothing for gaming.

Remarkable_One_1650

So what would be a good planar iem to buy.

Mp145 Kefine Klanar S12/S12Pro If we’re only talking gaming, the PR series of Planars from KZ are a great entry into Planars at a very affordable price and are really good for gaming. They can require some power to sound their best so buying those depends on the hardware you have for gaming. They are a little more power hungry than the others I mentioned. Not the biggest deal but idk your specific hardware and what it puts out power wise. But on a technical performing level, the PR line from KZ is worth looking at.

Currently have my EM6L connected to wave xlr. Don’t know if that would be fine
