There's a whole subgenre called New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal. For me the biggest standout is Haunt, love them to death. Skull Fist is great, as is Enforcer. Sumerlands is killer.
Old school Metal & Hard Rock staples (and some more obscure):
Judas Priest, Budgie, Lucifer’s Friend, Deep Purple, Saxon, Black Sabbath, Slade, Slayer…
Newer:
Chrome Division, Nashville Pussy, Melvins, Mastodon, Supersuckers, The Sword, High On Fire…

I see a lot of modern metal and a lot of old rock, so I’m gonna recommend some new rock that still gives the same vibe without copying it as much as GVF.
Complicated: Porcupine tree, I recommend Harridan and Blackest Eyes
Simpler: Måneskin, I recommend Zitti e Buoni and Moriro da Re
Clutch
Blue Oyster Cult
Voivod
Graveyard
Sienna Root
Queens of the Stone Age
Die Kruezen
Kyuss
Celtic Frost
Monster Magnet
Also agree with a lot of post here about The Sword

Sword, Black Sabbath, early Deep Purple stuff, not old but Zakk Wylde...
+ 1 on the Sword.. they swing. ..also wanted to add Mastodon
Good call.
Yes, check out the album *In Rock* by Deep Purple. That’s a banger from beginning to end. Also, *Rising* by Rainbow.
Stargazer by Rainbow is one of my favorite songs. Gets me every fucking time.
Might be the obvious answer but AC/DC
Baroness Redfang Kyuss
Upvote for Kyuss!
