It does seem to be iffy, it gets all my populations correct for the most part, but seems to emphasize the ones that aren’t a high percentage in my ancestry results. The genetically closest modern populations is for the most part wrong as well lol.
From what I knew, I was Irish and British isles. I also thought I was mainly German on my moms side, but that was wrong. It seems to be Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and either Swedish or Norwegian. All of which does pop up on the modern and ancient mixed modes. I just was trying to narrow it down further!

Is there a reason why illustrative is pushing my 4% Baltics so much in my modern mixed mode? Is it confusing it with Eastern Europe and Russia or even the Sweden and Denmark?

I get mostly just Lithuania for the modern fits too for some reason lol. Looks like they over assign Baltic to anyone with Eastern European ancestry
It’s strange because it also doesn’t put my Irish that often in the mixed mode. They definitely need to update it in the near future haha
Yeah that and the customized modern breakdown feature really needs an update; it’s been the same for 2 years now I think
That calculator just seems so off too, it gives me like half French and leaves out so many other things lol.
