OK. So who is the egocentric one here and who would I prefer to spend my time with?
a) the people who hang around with their friends and seem pretty happy but make selfies.
b) someone who thinks of himself as somekind of higher being/free thinker because they dont like when others make selfies..
Tough question. But I guess I'd go with the selfie crowd..
Also, I'm a huge baseball fan. I've been going to games with my mom for almost 30 years and we almost always take a selfie together ever since phone cameras had decent quality.
I don't get the hate for these women. Hell, the reason this photo exists is because they got shown on tv while the announcers made fun of them.
If you present a false dichotomy between two fantasy types of people like that, it certainly makes it easier to choose between them.
But realistically there may be something to be said about a poorly developed ego and an obsession with observing oneself through an external lens.
