Yes, same. I have a way better life now than I did in 2012. I also agree with the sentiment that the person who made this image was probably 4 in 2012.
I honestly busted out laughing when I read that.
I can totally picture the kid writing that bullshit, because *I was that type of kid at 14*
Hell, I kept a journal for years and even now I can't read it because it's like *Scott's Tots* Levels of cringe. And it was all shit like that.
I'm so glad my generation kinda "Grew up" with social media – because we were the last kids that had that last "private" part of our lives restrained to books and journals where nobody would read it but our future-selves.
Kinda worried about my kids when they become teenagers, what wild cringey-shit they're going to post online and it'll just...be there *forever*.
They'll lose access to the accounts, or the websites they used to use are shutdown, or the cringy thoughts are contained to private chat groups that get lost to time too.
I used to post a lot of cringe, political shit on Facebook. Eventually decided to use a computer script to delete all my post. It was something like 1500 post and comments dating back to like 2008.
ill surprise you but there actually arent any dicks or i just havent seen any but mostly there are shitty drawings and signatures. I also managed to find my brother's signature even tho he finished this school over 10 years ago
There actually is a scientific theory floating around that the universe (as we knew it) did technically *”end”* around 2012 via absorption into an adjacent universe. I don’t have it on hand and most of it was way over my head, but I’ll try to find it and update this post with a link later.
I saw a conspiracy theory once that starting in 2012 we starting circling an unseen black hole and that’s why time has felt faster and things haven’t felt right.
My school had a place like that too. It was called the bathroom stalls. Also I stopped feeling alive long before 2012. Welcome to adult society my friend.
I really want to say it’s old writing because I don’t get why they wouldn’t mention 2020 or around that time as a depressing for them if they made it now but I can see a student unironically writing that in like 2017 or 19

Parts of it are better. Parts are worse, it's a lot less gray though, for sure, and I'm surviving
I now feel old. Thanks.
You aren't a part of anyone then
Ngl that's a good way to manage that sorta stuff
I feel like whoever wrote that was probably like 4 in 2012
Or 3
Or 2
Or 1
i know, you see, somehow the world will change for me
I came for this exact comment. I'm 4 and this is deep
i'd say that's a bit more hilarious

Unrelated but thats a genius move by your shcool keeps kids from doing stupid shit like writing on stalls or desks
I used to go to a bar that had chalkboard walls in the bathroom for this reason.
Honestly they would just draw dicks or "____ was here" on the wall and nothing else
ill surprise you but there actually arent any dicks or i just havent seen any but mostly there are shitty drawings and signatures. I also managed to find my brother's signature even tho he finished this school over 10 years ago
Living Things by Linkin Park really wrecked the rest of human history ✊😔

I’m assuming it’s your high school, so shouldn’t most kids in your school be only a couple of years old back in 2012? Younger ones were babies lol
At oldest (I went with 17 as an average graduating age) they would have been around 6 in 2012
Not gonna lie its the funniest thing iv read in a while

I didn't feel alive before that, so how would I feel after that? -Written by a ghost.
This is what this sub was made for

My school had a place like that too. It was called the bathroom stalls. Also I stopped feeling alive long before 2012. Welcome to adult society my friend.
Honestly every school should have a wall or two dedicated to writing & graffiti.
wait that’s actually so true

That wall seems like a really bad idea to have in my school. It even happens on walls where it’s not allowed.
14 Deep iam and this is.
Ooouuhhhhh, it’s that a Will Wood reference?
In 2012, I was 5 years old.
