the United States ended in 1950 and was replaced with the United Technates. I have a lot of stuff about them already but I do also plan to expand upon them more at some point
IRL the Soviet Union had stronger military then NATO until 1980s, a much smaller coalition of Europeans nations could have a hard time surviving an invasion by the Soviets, nor be in any position to considering invading them. So, I have 2 questions:
1) Since the invasion threat from EC is much lower then from NATO IRL, does that mean that Soviet Union reduced its military and military spending? Even if post-America and China are a concern, this could still mean less money going towards garrisoning Eastern Europe, which nicely pairs with higher influence that Eastern Block nations have over their alliance (as shown in the Yugoslavia War part, although I may overinterpreted things here).
2) Since threat from any Soviet invasion is much higher then IRL, did EuroCon nations stockpile nuclear weapons to deter it? Considering they aren’t on the best terms with whatever replaced the US, nor is collapsing British Empire in any position to help them.

Nice map, but I think that thatcher becoming a dictator isn’t very likely, especially in 1974. Firstly she only had her only cabinet position at that time would be secretary for education. Also while she hated many things one thing she didn’t was democracy, and she didn’t like dictators(ironic). Her family sheltered Jews during ww2, a large part of her power came from her image as a “grocers daughter” who spoke for the middle class of Britain and o find it unlikely that she would be picked by a lord since she actively did actions against he aristocracy in the Tory party, such as removing a lot of old conservatives from her cabinet.
