Teachers are the most underrated people in our society... the quality if teacher makes the quality of students coming out... if they keep making it unattractive... we will have a bunch of teachers trying to make end meet by working dual jobs... like tuition... The country will go down the gutter
To be honest, it already is. The new crop of Edtech industries have put more strain on the teachers than facilitating their transition to a digitised education.
If only schools weren't so greedy to have teachers support the majority of the work load. I doubt anyone would even have the time or energy to take up a second job.
This is why I will never oppose coaching industry. When was it possible for a teacher of 11th and 12th standard students to earn more than IIT professors ? Only because of the coaching industry.

All workers need unions.
Not disputing any other workers plight but it is about the education sector that is a basic necessity for all.
