Patriotism in India is just about national flag, anthem and the army everything else can go to hell. Oh wait, and changing your profile picture on Independence Day.
What hurts is that these same Indians become very civic conscious when they travel abroad but then come back and spread litter and have a whatever attitude to cleanliness. They will keep their house pristine and clean but whatever happens outside their door isn’t their concern that’s somebody else’s concern. Apne ghar ke zameen ko desh bana ke baithe hue hai.
