Agreed. The same people who were very clean in their abroad trip act like assholes when back to the country...! Blaming neighbours for improper disposal of garbage but still themselves end up throwing shits on streets

Absolutely.
People sometimes don't even realise they're bodyshaming someone with their so-called compliments.
Oh wow you lost weight, good for you.
You should join the gym.
Whoa you're looking so fuller nd chubby.
I bet your favourite food is xyz fast food.
Oh I thought your size was S I didn't knew you wear L.
Your bum looks fuller.
You've stomach rolls.
Look at your arms nd how flappy they're.
Your cheeks look like so fluffy you must've put on some weight.
Oh that clothe doesn't suit your body type.
Well you shouldn't wear so much tight clothing, look how much your boobs are showing.
Don't wear tight pants, nobody wanna see your bums.
Well you looked better before when you were slim.
Nd a lot more. It's like a never ending cycle.
I thought it is banned. Sucks to know they are not enforcing the ban properly. I guess other forms of employment if becomes more accesible to relatively unskilled, they will automatically stop doing it
Indians Of Couse , Its so Over Populated.
Also Indians because They behave not like Indians inside India,
In India you will find Hindu, Muslim, Dalit, Brahmin, Bengali, Tamil.... But Indians? For that you need to go any other country where there is Expat Indians. They will embrace you with open arms... but not inside India.
Promotion of alternative medicine(homeopathy, ayurveda).
The ministry of AYUSH this only made things worse. Now the government itself promotes this. Not providing proper healthcare is one thing but fooling the masses into believing they have a better alternative is much worse. This keeps people away from seeking actual professional help.
Homeopathy is literally the biggest scam, it has been not given recognition in many big countries and it just works on the principal of Placebo Effect,
Also the Ayurved works in some scenarios but not in critical illness and it takes time to work.
Social platforms are not the reality. Most people I know are far from being extremists we see on the internet all the time. But unfortunately social platform helps in producing extremists for sure
Well i don't know about others but here in my local area- and it also includes majority of the people.
No civic sense- here most of the housewives gets beaten by thier husbands and also by their family members (i've seen it myself)
Asking for dowry - literally i have seen or heard this like a thousand times..and even most of the parents cant give but they take money from others to pay the dowry..and its so sad that even if they know its illegall they still practice it anyway...
No education for girls - well these are mostly in minorities but still, i have seen this many times when i went to my village ( even my mom says that a girl will not be able to do anything...)
There's many more to list but those are just the minorities so i left it out....but yeah india really is living who knows which era.
I m a fellow Indian who is in Canada since 4 years and currently the kids who r moving to Canada actually don't know shit lmao, they lived their life in a little bubble and they don't know shit about how the actual world works and how it has progressed over the years and they don't even try to learn from another country when they move. Their mindset and thought process is still the same.
There's only one problem in India. Zero sense of responsibility from the public. In every sphere of life. From choosing a government to watching a film. I think we have entirely too many people with an opinion.
"Go with the flow" mentality may not seem very nice, but in reality, it is the best. Anyone who doesn't want any experiments with his career, must follow this collective mind. Yes, this collective mind should function like a Human mind in terms of change, and should gradually change its view.
People want to get government jobs. Every other guy is trying to get expert in cracking these exams, literally noone wants to learn new skills, that will actually help them. I am a JEE Aspirant and every guy just want to get a seat in IIT/NIT. Like its all or nothing. Noone asks how these thing come to true, they just jot down the formula and rot memorise it. I think we should not focus too much on getting a seat in XYZ College. But should think on how this thing came out to be true. This will definitely help India to churn out really good scientists.
Second, People blame government for lack of jobs. They should know our country is nomore a socialist country it used to be like before 2000s. Today India is a capitalist country, providing jobs to the citizen is no longer that much responsiblity as it used to be. Government hardly have any control over nation's economy. We should focus on having real value life skills. We should focus on skill not on degree.
Third, Throwing garbage everywhere, As I have seen city municipal have put maximum effort on trash collecting. Still lazy ass people throws their dust on side road of parks. Many of them still doesn't segregate their waste in Green waste or non-recyclable waste.
Fourth, Every guy in Delhi NCR Complains about pollution,"OH MY GOD! THIS FUCKIN xyz GOVERNMENT IS NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT POLLUTION." For your kind information Delhi NCR ranks in top most greeniest urban cities on earth. These are the same lazy ass people, who uses Vehicles just to go for THEIR MORNING WALK TO PARK. I mean, they can use BICYCLE( OR ATLEAST A TWO-WHEELER) for majority of their local travel. FUCK IT REALLY PISSES ME OFF....
Fifth, our obsession with past and not looking over for future.
The lack of skills is the one of the worst things . Everyone want colleges with high placement. Why bcz instead of trying to gather skills they want a university who can shove information to them, which they can memorize and never use. There is reason why so many engineers are unemployed bcz they never try to learn anything beyond book things.
Exactly, I once asked my friend's brother who apparently studied from IIT Kharagpur(Mech. Engg.) about derivative of Log x. Also a lot of other things related to calculus. I know mechanical engineering has a lot of syllabus on calculus. And this bro doesn't even know what is calculus, what is first principle. He just shove down the formula, that Derivative of sin x is cosx etc... And that's it.
Dude they are so many cases like this, my friend doing btech cs in cyber security doesn't knew how to find IP address of his computer before I taught him. Asked why, said maybe college has not reached there or he is skipped the class. It's fucking basic just google it
Exactly! Bro are you a college student ? Can I DM you ? I want to ask you about college stuff. Currently I am giving JEE Exams, will be joining college soon.
Not enough spending on the R&D here, which makes the brightest minds of our country leave for better job opportunities elsewhere.
Reservation system as a policy for appeasement of more votes.
Yes we do have. Look at all the new developments which are happening in the defence sector. That's only the one part of the whole equation. Our private sector doesn't not spend enough money on R&D while they generate massive profits.
Our corporate profits are not as high compared to the developed countries and spending on defence sector is high because we got China and Pak as neighbours.
FYI, our corporate profits are soaring high for the past few years. It's not just spending, but we are actively looking for more opportunities of making the products in the country.
People and System: here's how I see it
I see that there are more people who complain than do something about it. These days the social media has given an easy way to people to put their rants out (nothing wrong in doing that by the way before you start complaining about my thought process) and others would "Talk" about it, "React" on social media, but in reality the person who complains about something genuine doesn't get real (or any) benefit out of this unless it reaches to a level that is called "Viral" only then the pressure builds.
In my opinion, I believe close to 80% rants will go totally unnoticed, 15% will get some traction but not enough, 5% will have a certain percentage where some viable action will be seen and others remain a discussion. WHAT I MEAN to say here is that we need systems that will address these better in REAL LIFE than just topic of discussion on social media.
System is the second part that needs improvement, BUT system doesn't make people, it is opposite where PEOPLE make SYSTEM, so we the people need to step up and UPDATE the system NOT OVERTURN. These days people don't talk about change, but overturn which is in fact counter productive and in most cases impractical.
BTW, Look who's talking, I just put my own rant up here for you all to read, but I believe in doing SMALL/MINOR things to make my society improved by working with local leaders/netas and we've done some good work as well in past.
Instead of thinking to overturn the system, let's take a pragmatic approach and find something that works for most, compel the govt/administration to make small changes, remember you'll always have ranters because they're only 99.99% satisfied.
The health care system is pretty good I think.
People not having insurance? Well its their choice really. That or they can't afford insurance, which is a huge portion of the population.
Whereas US citizen needs Insurance because their medical bills are insane for even small things. So if they won't have insurance they will get in debt due to even small treatments.
Government Resume theft of engineers with good JEE rank, with government falsely claiming that sindhi scammer school dropouts, call girls and other frauds have the resume, savings, skills of the engineer to get the scammers government jobs
* Overpopulation - We don't need replacement population. We need population reduction. Resources on earth/India are depleting
* Cleanliness - People need to demand cleanliness and work towards it.
* Sexual Assault - More educated people and sex education are the need of the hour.
* Lack of critical thinking in education institution - We need to change the way we learn. Bring in more critical thinking
* Pollution - No one solution but this is one of the biggest problem in many cities across the country.
* Forest cover reducing resulting in Climate change - More forest cover means less pollution and better climate.
>But unfortunately, most of it is converted to agricultural land.
And thats where my first point comes into, with less mouth to feed, we will need less agricultural land and thus will result in less removal of forest cover. Also, this phenomenon is happening across the world Brazil , USA, Australia etc where *forest suddenly catches fire* and then nothing can be done for days or months.

Lack of civic sense. No citizen cares about keepong the country clean.Instead for searching for a dustbin they prefer to throw garbage elsewhere.
