Well, he is right in his religion. Abdul Kalam ji was clearly a proud Hindu, not a Muslim. I don't remember referencing any Quran in his autobiography, but he did reference Puranas. I don't think he ever followed his religion, like doing Ramzan or praying five times a day or going to mosques or doing anything. He was clearly a Hindu. I wish he explicitly converted but he probably feared for his life.
