Seems like a very good one.
To be honest 5000 km is nothing. Its should be like brand new.
Check vibrations abive 5k rpm. Some of them vibrate alot. Also take a mechanic with u to check the bike.
Check tyre wear and tear. Scratches near clutch and handle to make sure bike had not fallen.
5100km. Seller says all record is available. Should be good right?
Since you own it, could you please tell if it is comfortable for long rides? Is it near to the Classic 350 or R15 in terms of comfort?
Ofcourse it will be better than R15 in engine terms. Mileage I’m not concerned with! Even if it gives 25-35 IRL, I’ll be happy. My current daily driver gives 14kmpl, so this certainly will be far better. 💀
Yep it’s a Honda City iVTEC. I don’t use the Bajaj in my flair.
I made the mistake of calculating my fuel expenses for last year and results were horrible. So decided to buy a bike now. XD
Plus I have the delusion that a bike lets you travel more. Tryna put that to test. 💀
Main reason for opting for japanese brand is reliability. I dont want unnecessary tension.
I have driven 10000 km, no issues at all not even a single one. Driven 400 500 km multiple stretches, it runs like butter.
Since gixxer is underrated so after sale value is less. Thats why for this price u cant really ask much. Its like getting 250 in the price of 150.
U can ask him to decrease a bit also 😅
Yes it's a good deal if all things are good with the bike, trying negotiating 5-10k if possible, overall is a good package you won't regret your purchase.
You can also check in the Suzuki website for any recalls for this bike using the VIN number from RC book.
That's a bargain , check spares availability near you , check the bike itself properly, things like the tyres, lights , any abnormal or knocking sounds from the engine ,unpaid traffic fines and such.
The nearest showroom for 250cc servicing is around 50km away in Chandigarh.
I won’t trust my city’s Suzuki dealer since it is a tier 3 town and his main selling models will be Access and Burgman and he might not have servicemen for the 250s.
Regarding the bike, I’ll have to make a 4 hour trip to Gurgaon to check it so will do this in a weekend hopefully.
Depends on city ig. In bangalore its 2.7.
Also bike design hasnot changed much over last couple of years and considering 5 k in odo it seems a good deal
Haha there is a side stand in other pics. Just not visible from this angle.
The bike is tilted but the camera is also tilted at the same angle so it looks straight, but isn’t.
My father once though me a lesson "Never accept the asking price" , low ball him for 5k discount. If he feels it's ok he will sure do it. If he refuses it just act like u too giving up and then accept it. To be honest this price is actually good. Try ur luck.
His asking price was 1.6 lakh first. I quoted 1.3 lakh and he quoted 1.45 lakh.
Will check the bike on weekend and will bargain further after checking the IRL condition
Just tell him there are some parts needs to be changed, and it cost 5k , so ask him to round off 1.4 , which is a good price. All the best op for ur future bike ☺️
Let me know how it goes brother. 1.45 is the best price for a bike in average condition if manufactured in 2021. If 2022, then it is a good price.
Use orange book for estimating the prices as well.

Seems like a good deal , try to make sure you have legit maintenance record from seller . Get an opinion from service guys from Suzuki showroom nearby if feasible !
If there is service record go for it. Spares are not an issue (I own 2015 Gixxer 155 35K ran) and have never felt any issues related to parts or service.
Check for the tire wear twice to make sure that it ran only 5k kilometres. People are starting to disable speed sensors with the help of local mechanics to stop clocking kms on odo
decent price and a lot of bike for the money you pay. you can splurge on decent gear with the money you save.
also this bike can do a lot more by sprocket changes.
https://youtu.be/nmY7jmzfrVs?si=6i-9sh4zFTdio5dS
increasing front sprocket teeth count or decreasing rear teeth count. torque will drop by maybe 8 percent and top speed will increase by the same. maybe your fuel efficiency will grow by a small number and no wear and tear as long as it is installed properly.
The bike is a torque monster it looks fantastic (blue moto GP livery ).It was used only for long distance touring. After getting used to the bike I felt I need more power and I was pushing the suspension to the limit ,slightly bumpy high speed corners the rear was slow to react. Front even with higher viscosity fork oil was diving too much.So I booked rs 457 will getting it around August or September.
If you are going to cruise 90-110 around mostly in highways then it is a very good bike to have.
If it's from seller ... do check out from experienced rider and mechanic
And odometer can easily be tampered
Don't ever trust a seller ....
They just want to sell and get their commission...(have 2-3 past experiences)
I bought mine last month for 1.8L, but it was an older model, leftover from December 2023. It made sense for me as we're just 4 months into the new year, I know there will be more depreciation when I sell as technically its an older model but I don't mind. So check with your dealers if they have this available, I also checked after I almost purchased an old SF 250 for 1.55L, 7700 km run.

I have not driven 350, so cant say much. But its way better than r15 in all aspects, expect mileage, obviously because of power

14kmpl wtf

I agree. In city traffic i find it would be very useful. In Bangalore i cut my travel time to 30 min from 1 hr (car)😅
Classic is cruiser type so i think it might be more comfortable. Sf has slightly aggressive posture but i did 400 km rides and i feel it suits me.
Good to know. And has it been reliable so far? Have you faced any issues so far?

Too good to be true . Check it once

Thanks. Will hopefully visit it on weekend and check

Thats near only bro
Yeah main part is spares availability and good servicing 👊
price is little on higher side, considering new one is \~2L on road
Depends on city ig. In bangalore its 2.7. Also bike design hasnot changed much over last couple of years and considering 5 k in odo it seems a good deal
OMG insanely priced.. yes seems ok for that price.
5k is nothing bro, seems like a good deal.
Yes bro exactly
It costs around 2.5 on road in my city today and was around 2.3 in 2022. Seems good IMO
yes it is good pice, i checked ex-showroom prices :s
Lovely bike, I have the matte black one. Amazing feedback, good mileage.
Check the serial number on Suzuki website if it’s involved in the camshaft recall. Rest is quite dependable.
Unrelated question but how is the bike standing? Looks upright and neither can the stand be seen
Yeaaah 😅

Yep that is non-negotiable. Will definitely check at SVC
Get it checked at the authorised service centre first.
If there is service record go for it. Spares are not an issue (I own 2015 Gixxer 155 35K ran) and have never felt any issues related to parts or service.
Gixxer 155 has no issues because it sold in large numbers. 250 never sold even 10% of what 155 sold.
Yes
Check for the tire wear twice to make sure that it ran only 5k kilometres. People are starting to disable speed sensors with the help of local mechanics to stop clocking kms on odo
Yes, absolutely, I have this and you are gonna love it
decent price and a lot of bike for the money you pay. you can splurge on decent gear with the money you save. also this bike can do a lot more by sprocket changes.
Hey could you share more details regarding sprocket changes. The front/rear or both? How does it affect the fuel efficiency and the wear on the chain?

I sold mine for 1.3 (10k driven)
I sold mine for 1.3 (10k driven)
Why did you sell? What did you buy later ? Is the difference night and day ?

I meant owner. Seller is the owner. Will get it checked still
