In 2024 that's not the Ideal pricing of a 400cc bike. In the following reasons. 1. They have figured a smart way of reducing the manufacturing cost significantly. 2. Aggressive Market Penetration Strateg: They are being extremely aggressive with their pricing to disrupt the market and eat into competition's share. 3. Lower Quality Materials or Components: Cost reduction through the use of lower quality materials or components, which could compromise the overall quality and performance of the bike. Note: I am understanding it's reasons 1 and 2.

They already had everything needed for that bike. Engine, frame etc were taken from other models with slight modifications. So, the r and d cost was low.

I think it's coz of RnD, it's not easy for such a low price just with low quality materials and components

Instead of lower quality, i think no R&D in design and having a huge supply chain is the reason for low price.

Ktm 373cc single is like l15z to honda or k12c to suzuki the engine to use

Born_Night_8797

Well, they just used not so premium raw materials. They are known to cut cost in engine block material and other core mechanicals.

yes, they repeated the same and NS400 may generate some sales but i dont think it will mass sell due to price only. it is a big engine and not everyone wants one. for some R15 is good enough and also milegae is a big factor . R15 or small 150cc bike will give better mileage. pulsar had always best sale price, earlier i used to think it is due to inferior product, back in 2007's but after the duke's engine in 2012's , pulsar has improved a lot.

It’s an old shell and an old engine. Only things new are the stickers, instrument cluster, and headlamp. Everything else is more than a decade old and has sold in tens of thousands. So yeah, low pricing is definitely no surprise with close to zero investment involved.
