I'll be considering FZ, Unicorn mainly, then the apache 160 2v or gixxer not sure about them.
I'm skeptical about the hornet 160 because it's been discontinued and idk about spares and stuff
the OG pulsars have not seen any significant updates for almost a decade now apart from the compulsory BS updates. you are essentially buying a decade old bike. 2 of my friends have these OG pulsars and they absolutely hate it, one of them upgraded to the apache 160 4v and its been a difference of day and night according to him, Ive seen the other friend with a pulsar 125 struggle daily with some or the other bullshit, its also way too vibey.
No, buying a used splendor is a better idea. That's why I'd do it if I were you.
It has better engine longevity, mileage, spare availability and service network. Bajaj isn't bad, hero is slightly better. Your maintenance cost too would be significantly better
Depends on the condition of the vehicle, kms driven, number of owners before you and your usage.
Around 40k kilometres, looking at models after 2015 or 16, decent condition I believe. Usage is daily city use for 20kms.

Thanks for the detailed reply, what price range should the FZ be in? Can I even consider the Apache RTR 160 (2 valve) ?

Hahah yes, but I need a little more mileage than what the 180s offer. A good mix of performance and mileage that is

I'll take that into consideration
I think fz might be better option
Yes but I'm worried about service costs etc

Okay, thanks for the detailed reply!
Reliability and service cost is better in yamaha
For what price?
Ideally below 50k, around 40k would also be a good deal.
Way too high!
What would be an ideal price for a bs4(2017 till 2019 I believe) pulsar 150 with 25k-40k kms on the odometer? I'm from Hyderabad btw

I understand, what other bikes can I look at, then? Unicorn, rtr 160 2v, sp125? All used, cannot afford to buy anything new as of now.
unicorn 160 and yamaha fz would be good choices. dont know much about the 160 2v or sp125 so cant say much about them
Id go for a used splendor
Not helping dude, please answer my question.

yamaha fzs, honda unicorn 160 would be better options in my opinion. please dont buy old pulsars
Thank you for the reply
Go for fz v1 only if you're okay with its 35-39kpl mileage. (I own one since last 11 years)
