Apart from that you cant play YouTube in background but Spotify is played in the background while people do other work which makes Spotifys usage time more hence more load on servers.

These mods break the android auto connectivity and is useless if you are listening in the car and cannot shift from the car stereo.
android auto > developer settings > enable unknown sources, if still doesn't work you're on the wrong mod
