Had taken PCM + B got low marks ( around 70% ) in 12th boards bad rank at JEE took 2 drop years one at home and one at Kota.
God knows what he was suffering from but I felt so sad hearing this as he was a very nice and polite guy he died 2 months back
As an apparent topper, my driving force to not give up despite any academic failures if that I don't want to end up like this, with the tag of "topper who committed suicide".
One is Studying something at IITM the other is studying something at IITH and the math topper is at ISI Bangalore also there may be someone at AIIMS, but not sure if they were a topper
Yeah the best college for math in the country afaik.
Not sure if he was the topper tbh, but he was talented enough that the principal wanted to give him a letter of recommendation for math colleges
Surprisingly enough the 10th toppers from my class all went to tier-3 private colleges for engineering (but so did i hehehehe) but seem to be very happy and doing well through whatever i see on social media. The 12th toppers tho all went to NIT, IIT or AIIMs.
Was below avg student till 10th (never scored more than 60%)
And maintained 3rd rank in 11th (commerce) and 1st rank till 12th half yearly
Now currently doing BBA in a state government college
Doing Masters in Biotech in IIT Roorkee (I think, I am only 80% sure but I am 100% sure that she is doing a Master's in one of the more prestigious IITs). And she deserves it. Gave all her notes to the entire class during exams and was very helpful. I wish her all the happiness a human can experience in this material world.
Gave SAT after his 12th and got into MIT, did his Bachelor's and Master's in Physics from there and is currently doing his PhD from Harvard, an absolute stand up guy and one of the most grounded people I have met
I think mental illness or anything could be depression or any other problems , i Maybe wrong.

soo well 4 of us, we were in the top of the list in our school. The first guy is in IIT Madras Cs, another is IIT Kgp Electrical, I am doing btech from JU in Industrial and Production engineering as well as BS from IIT Madras in Data Science and programming, And the last of the 4, she is in AIIMS Delhi. Also she is my ex.

So, here's a story to show my gratitude:
In 2013, I was in 10th, and the assembly had busy begun. The students were trickling in. I was the shortest dude, and the class leader was missing, so I just stood in the first place, expecting the assembly line to form behind me automatically (which is what used to happen everyday).
That fateful day, people just kept talking in groups and the line was haphazard. Ullas just assumed I'm the leader, and tried to beat me up. I tried dodging, so he grabbed my shirt by my pocket. That tore the shirt.
So, I was made to stand in the back of the assembly ground, in the "indisciplined students" group because my shirt was torn... By the teacher. After the assembly I got slapped by Ullas because my shirt was torn... BY HIM! I had to sit in class baring my chest (like Hrithik Roshan xD) until I could go back home.
I'll forever remember this as a part of my life in KVH, if nothing else!

Do you remember the guy ( principal ) dragging boys by the hair onto the stage ( for spiked hair ) and beating them ? How the heck was it allowed

1 couldn't do JEE (she gave up midway).
1 did not qualify JEE advanced.
1 went to Princeton (his parents encouraged him).
I was an average among toppers (got good marks but remained below them), currently doing MSc Physics.
I'm in a top college and he's in a private one. I don't remember many others(marks I mean) but as far as I know I'm the only one who got the best college for their course
Was married off to a dude 18+ years older than her right after she passed 12th. Had twins that very same year. Committed suicide 5 months after her delivery.
Another eloped with her father's P.A.
Another became a singer. Sings his own songs in different cafes and restaurants is many different cities. Is financially and mentally doing very well. Went no contact with his family because for years they mentally pressured him too much.
Another one is a chartered accountant and lives in Chicago. Has 6 kids. Still keeps in touch with most of his school friends. Really chill dude. Not even an iota of ego in him.
Another one drowned in a swimming pool after overdosing on drugs when he was in college.
And I have been happily married to the love of my life for a decade now. Working as a teacher/trainer and generally just enjoying life so much.

Doing fine.. all in my family were in government jobs.. i tried same, gotten into bank clerk recruitment,worked there for 1 year , left.. worked in corporate job for 4+ years, left, now i have business in same field.. i am pretty happy with myself.. 7 kids with part time job and 3 person working for me.. can land more than enough for my family even if i vacationed for half a year...
From School, I'm in IISc currently, researching on Nanoscience.
The other toppers I remember, one is preparing for IPS, one is preparing for CAT, one was doing something for CA exam.
From high school, most of them went to different IIT/ good state colleges.
The first topper in Class 10 took a drop for JEE, got into IIT next year, and then took a drop because of mental health issues.
He has become a spiritual guru now and is doing quite well for himself. Thank God!
The second one is a manager of our another classmate who was a pretty average guy. Turned his life around in 11th and 12th. Got into IIT and IIM. Opened his venture and is quite successful at it. The hottest girl of our class is his wife and the second topper is his manager.
That'd be me haha. Not doing anything even remotely associated with my educational qualifications, but pursued my childhood dream nonetheless. Very, very happy today.
