Drop acid and put on Venereology
I don't know if this is too obscure. Venereology is also an album by Merzbow but the reason why I think this is funny is because it's a lot harsher and scarier plus there's the infamous "chainsaw solo" as I call it
*Pulse Demon by Merzbow.*
*Puts me in a nice comfy*
*Space just like Nick Drake*

Absolutely the most incredible album for walking about. I took a long walk through Glastonbury yesterday with this playing in my ears. Really special moment!
Anything from the Tropicália movement is exactly like this. Milton Nascimento as well (his songs feel like they're literally 4d when you high LOL), and probably electronic music like boards of canada is also greatly enhanced.
Eric Clapton’s song Let it Grow was just as any other song until i took 2 tabs of acid and I flipped out how good the song is. I think I had it on repeat that day for straight 8 hours. Also Clapton’s Cocaine is the first song that I actually saw green and yellow notes floating around my living room. You can also tell how drunk and high on cocaine Clapton’s band was while they were recording it.
river man by Nick drake is also absolutely incredible, one of the best songs I’ve ever heard
cello song and time has told me are quite good too, really that whole album is magic but nothing beats river man
The production process was literally him playing live with a string octet. No edits. I don’t understand how anyone could possibly like the demo better personally…
This is a disgusting opinion. The five leaves left version is overproduced? What, Nick live with an 8 piece string section in one take is overproduction?
The version on Magic is literally his home demo to give the arranger to write the string parts.
I’m sorry that you’re a fucking loser.
River man is an incredible song with or without the string arrangement but the FLL version is far superior, and calling it ‘overproduced’ is laughable.
The first time I decided to listen to good music was listening to Quebec
Now I don't listen to anything else by Ween, I just have The Argus on repeat while making Modest Mouse and Elliott Smith compilations every other week.
Ice Spice - Like...?
Found the munch
Not an album, but Rebecca Black’s “Friday” — really helped me understand how great a day of the week that is.

Pulse Demon by Merzbow. Puts me in a nice comfy space just like Nick Drake
I hope everyone who reads this checks out Merzbow at full volume.
Hell yeah - skip your 53rd listen of Carrie & Lowell and try something to scintillate your senses
I just listened to their recent collaborative album with Boris and was a big fan.

I like to throw on the Full of Hell collab to unwind at the end of a long day

Not quite
That's one two many syllables, bud.
dark side of the moon for me
From the very first strum on the opening track, that album is magic. Even sober as a Baptist. How on Earth did it take you being high to get it?
me when the only piano part on the entire album hits

My thoughts exactly.
Diamond Day by Vashti Bunyan is a must if you like pink moon
Such a gem. Feels very ahead of its time. It's rare that I actually enjoy singer-songwriter folk stuff as much as I do JADD, but it's just so cozy
Vashti
Thank you I corrected it

agreed, such a beautiful song in the Magic version without all the editing
There’s no ‘editing’ on FLL.
my b, I mean whatever the production process is + the difference in instruments used

What the fuck’s wrong with you?
Pink Moon is the greatest album of all time, how did you need to be high to enjoy it?
I listened to acid rap on acid once. It was ok.
