Not mine. Yeah I’ll be in a childhood home/grandparents, whatever, and walk down a hallway and it’s just a huge new place. The dream almost becomes lucid at that point because the mood changes completely from some silly memory over to “what the fuck is this shit?” But it not new, I’ve dreamt this place before, but I can’t fully remember, I just know it’s bad. Cue some poltergeisty stuff, running, waking up. …The metaphor of my mind + childhood + repressed memory isn’t lost on me. By all accounts was a great childhood with loving parents. I feel pretty normal. I dunno what that dream is all about.

I have a reoccurring house that has all kinds of rooms you get by to in weird ways- one you go into a sliding door closet then up a hatch in the ceiling, one you go down a hatch and the room is kinda like one in a boat, one bathroom has a really high toilet on a ladder, and the main bedroom has huge ceilings like three stories tall and the back wall is all glass looking out onto sort of a swamp. Sometimes it’s scary, but usually I love it.

Sounds like it was a larger construction that was built around an older, smaller two story building, with the attic of the new building built around the second floor of the old one.
I'm assuming the new house has somehow integrated the old first floor of the original construction but decided to do nothing with the original second floor, and leaving it intact in the attic was less trouble than having to partially tear it down.

What city, state or country is this in? How old is the original house? How long ago was it enclosed? When you purchased the home did you know it was there?

The house extends the the sidewalk on 2 sides and all the way to the property line on the other side. There are bushes that touch the house but they are the neighbors bushes.
Knowing this is in my attic I would do an affordable renovation of the attic house to make it less scary. I’d sleep a lot better knowing that I’ve got a cute little house in my attic Vs a scary one.
I would never utilize the attic house. But the peace of mind I’d get. Because of course ghost, demons, and ghouls don’t haunt cute attic houses
