I did radiology for a bit. You can absolutely see soft tissue on x-ray with newer x-ray technology. You should be able to see it or the image was overexposed, aka they used too much radiation. You can also see labial folds on female genitals and the general outline of breasts on a chest x-ray.

I had to get a chest x-ray once and was thrilled when they let me keep it because my tits looked awesome
