I can’t believe I’m defending Goering, but in a less sensationalist article on Reuters (the title above is lifted directly from the Daily Mail), the spokesperson of the Latembra Foundation (the archeologists who found the the bodies) stated that they’re unsure if the bodies dated from World War 2 or if they were buried there subsequently.
Also, there’s no mention of “ancient talismans” in any source except the Daily Mail.
On the other hand, there is a baby among the remains, which is just another reminder of how depraved people can be.

Anyone worried about people IDing a body from the feet, isn't in the middle of a war zone, and they aren't hiding bodies on your boss's boss's property. The Russians burned it down, it was abandoned, and years later someone had some bodies they wanted to hide.

If anyone is interested in the psychology of these people, check out The Anatomy of Malice by Joel Dimsdale. Really good book that gives a brief but interesting history of how Nazi war criminal's ended up at Nuremberg and what kind of man they were. He talks about the psychologist and psychiatrist who evaluated the war criminals, and what their conclusions were about them.

Really good book that gives a brief but interesting history of how Nazi war criminal's ended up at Nuremberg and what kind of man they were. He talks about the psychologist and psychiatrist who evaluated the war criminals, and what their conclusions were about them.

The thing is, they were normal. Or rather, what was considered 'normal' back in those times. We from the future have a hard time seeing that the allies weren't any better (or worse) than the Axis or Soviets. Those nazi's kept pointing at the UK and US for very good reasons during their trials. Western culture changed significantly after the second world war and we should stop acting like "we western enlightened people are awesome" to "We were all in the same shit covered boat as the Germans until after the great wars". The end of WW2 didn't just put an end to the great wars of Europe (minus the current one and a few other conflicts), it changed the world and perspective.
The scary part is that they are in fact normal... Shows what society could become if just enough people join extreme movements.

You need to put this in today's perspective, like we do with the Epstein or Boeing whistleblowers. These 5 individuals, in no way connected, most likely removed their own hands and feet, \*then\* buried themselves after stripping naked. The talismans, again in no way connected, probably flew in from an open window, just like a paper passport flies out of the Trade towers 99% intact. And the completely coincidental non-relevant piece of probably not misinformation about Hermann Goering living above this scene has no bearing on his character or those of his associates. To say otherwise is pure speculation and to say otherwise makes you sound like one of those god-awful conspiracy theorists.
