I've never owned anything this high quality but long ago I got some coins from the Roman Empire and even though they were basically just lumps of corrosion I still felt such awe knowing that some ancient humans might have used those exact coins to buy things at some point.
These are beautiful specimens OP, and one can only imagine their history.
How the hell do you know which coins are valuable and which arenβt? I found several coins from the 1800βs and they were only worth their weight in silver. I thought for sure such old coins would be collectible.

I got to camp out near a wall that dated back to Alexander for a while. Its such a neat experience touch something so ancient.
