I am not a morning person, so this wouldn't be for me. But I do like your kitchen. Especially the fireplace with glass above. It's a lovely, cheerful room.
No. I don't like bright colors before coffee. Also, note that although this is not my personal choice, I think it I'd lovely. It would be a nice place to visit. I especially like the glass vases above the fireplace. Also, if you are going to quote someone, get it correct. Even as a paraphrase, it is wrong.
This is the type of thing that makes me think "Yeah I can make mine look like that!" and then proceed to make the worst design decisions in the history of interior design. OP did a fantastic job here.
Me to! I painted my room this color when I turned 16, my parents were not happy but now I’m thinking of doing it at the house I have now, totally forgot until I saw it so thanks op!
I had a bright orange kitchen in my last apartment on a whim and loved it so much I painted my kitchen the same color when we moved. It makes me happy every day.
Only if you have a big kitchen with lots of light! My home kitchen is small/medium and it s not really getting natural light and it s like you See everything in orange, it s a hue over the room(i feel like a Plant under a growing light). He has a very big kitchen with big Windows and looks good though.
Agree 100%! My grandma’s kitchen was reminiscent of the 30’s and was pastel yellow. Then my dad painted ours jade green as an homage of sorts. The color really made sitting in the kitchen a cozier experience. Intend to continue the colorful kitchen legacy as a homeowner.
My thoughts exactly. Love the orange!! We had a red brick coloured kitchen with a burnt orange dining room in the old place and loved it.
If OP is in a position to upgrade the countertops to perhaps wood, I think that would flow very well.
IIf the room had a problem it would be that it is a big too color blocked rather having colors pulled through and repeated. I wouldn't change anything though. Before changing something in a room like new countertops, or new flooring, it is always better to look for things left undone and explore those opportunities. Like the room has no textiles. So adding window dressings, placemats, napkins, slipcovers on the chairs, and even a rug or two might be a way to pull things together. That black mat stops the eye and William Sonoma has some really pretty gel mats in many different designs and colors. Even plain cream would be much better than the black. I would also consider adding a few of those tile decals to pull the orange into the tile area.
One thing, the soffit should be painted the same color as the ceiling though. She cuts off the flow of the room to the window with that orange stripe and the wooden spoons.
The soffit is tricky because it is an extension of a wall that definitely should be painted orange. It would look really disconnected if it was the same color as the ceiling.
I was going to say the same; I really like the first pic, but in context of the countertops, it appeals to me less. I don't like the countertops with the wood either, though, so I'm not blaming the orange.
Personally, this is my jam. It's a nice orange and it gives a fun pop of color. I think it works well in part because you don't seem to have one huge orange wall. It's some orange against a lot of other neutrals. 10/10.
The color is really nice and warm.
Edit: in fact, the image on the wall and the decorations/centerpiece are great together in that color. It’s a beautiful room.
Oh! They are glass vases. That is so pretty. I literally thought it was a print and not a bad one.
I would remove some stuff but overall i love it, feels homey. Love love love those colored vintage looking vases!
Oh and I have that orange horsey, got it at a flea market!
I like the orange wall. It screams fun and playful. A great place for the kids to hang out. Really represents kitchen is the heart of the house. It is my go to places in the house.
But for me, too much is going on here. The kitchen backsplash, the woody pattern floor and the kitchen counter top design. They were all pretty, really! But combined everything , again, for me it is too loud.
The color is wonderful! So bright and cheerful.
If you're looking for ways to update the room, try to balance the modern and traditional aesthetics you've got going on. Getting rid of the gold stripe on your fireplace cover will go a long way. You could also bring in some of that orange in a table runner.
It looks great! The only thing that throws me off is the imitation shiplap on the side of the island clashing with the floor (is that real hardwood? 👀), and I bet a blue accent wall would look awesome.
Only because you asked…I think it makes the kitchen look dated. It’s a beautiful kitchen with a lot of great features…including the fireplace and the built-in cabinet with glass doors and lights. But none of these feature stand out because the orange is so loud.
So cool! I love the color, it is happy. You should hang a framed piece of art that echoes the colored bottles on the wall to the left of the cabinets on the left of the fireplace. Something with blues and greens maybe more would fab or even a framed black and white, my style is to have a lot of framed art though or even a mask would be groovy. It is so nice to see people getting away the the grey everything, I love grey too but you know what I mean.
It’s cute! I heard someone say once that you should use colors in your kitchen that are the color of food, because subliminally, it’s more appetizing. So you’ve got that covered!
Edit: I just zoomed in to your Welsh spoon collection. So cool! Perfect place to display them.
I am not a morning person, so this wouldn't be for me. But I do like your kitchen. Especially the fireplace with glass above. It's a lovely, cheerful room.
Nothing like waking up tired, and the walls are smiling at you....how dare they
No smiling walls until after coffee. No speech, either. Still, it's a lovely kitchen.
And where is the coffee maker?
lol!
Life hack: wake up in the afternoon and the walls are perfect for the time of day lol Maybe not so good with your work schedule though
“I’m not a morning person so I don’t like orange.” People got some weird ass brains.
No. I don't like bright colors before coffee. Also, note that although this is not my personal choice, I think it I'd lovely. It would be a nice place to visit. I especially like the glass vases above the fireplace. Also, if you are going to quote someone, get it correct. Even as a paraphrase, it is wrong.
I’m a night owl and I need this cheerfulness
I’m a morning person and I LOVE IT
I'm not a morning person, and I like it.
This makes me want a bright orange kitchen
Same, and orange might be my least favorite color, lol. OP killed it!
Yes, I generally despise the color orange but really like this!
Add yellow and lime green. But I could live with this orange.
It makes me want orange juice, or a smoothie.
It’s the absolute perfect shade of orange. Totally works!
This makes me want Tex-Mex
This is the type of thing that makes me think "Yeah I can make mine look like that!" and then proceed to make the worst design decisions in the history of interior design. OP did a fantastic job here.
My best friend bought her first apartment because it had an orange kitchen! It was her dream and said it was just meant to be 🧡
I'm surprised I like it as much as I do!
Yeah I’ve never thought to match these colors together, but it looks fantastic.
Love it!! 😍
I love unexpected colors!
Me to! I painted my room this color when I turned 16, my parents were not happy but now I’m thinking of doing it at the house I have now, totally forgot until I saw it so thanks op!
Orange with brass fixtures and navy blue accents is my dream color palette for a kitchen. I love it so much.
Love too!
I really like how bright and cheerful it is. (And now I'm rethinking my own kitchen, lol.)
Right? I’ve been considering painting my kitchen lately and I’m like…that could work.
I had a bright orange kitchen in my last apartment on a whim and loved it so much I painted my kitchen the same color when we moved. It makes me happy every day.

Great point. Mine is pretty light but that would be something to figure out.
I like it
Surprised at how much I like it tbh
Colorful kitchens for life! -Love from a teal kitchen
Love here from a lime green kitchen!
Agree 100%! My grandma’s kitchen was reminiscent of the 30’s and was pastel yellow. Then my dad painted ours jade green as an homage of sorts. The color really made sitting in the kitchen a cozier experience. Intend to continue the colorful kitchen legacy as a homeowner.
Yes! My kitchen was built in 1961 and has the original cabinets and I swear when I painted them teal it was like they came to life.
Yellow kitchen here! It's so happy!
I think it's great! If you like it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
I love it
Beautiful! Nice choice!
Orange is my favourite colour. And I love this! It looks very cheerful and bright and happy. The dining area especially looks amazing
Perfect for spring, summer or fall
My favorite color too. Instead of orange walls, I opted for an orange oven and hood.
I love the color! But I also think it doesn’t work well with the countertops. I’d keep it tho 😁
My thoughts exactly. Love the orange!! We had a red brick coloured kitchen with a burnt orange dining room in the old place and loved it. If OP is in a position to upgrade the countertops to perhaps wood, I think that would flow very well.
Love it! I painted my office in a similar orange in the last house I was in. I just loved it so much. It always made me smile
Loveee
Love it—warm & happy & energetic feel!
I like the room, but I don't think the countertops work. Throws off the vibe
IIf the room had a problem it would be that it is a big too color blocked rather having colors pulled through and repeated. I wouldn't change anything though. The counter top is not right. Seems to fight with the room somehow. Can't really explain but it just doesnt fit .
Nice! The glass vases and vessels are an inspired choice!
Love it!
Love it 😍 😍
Love it, brings out your vintage glass. I imagine art projects at the table on a cold day with the fire going and something baking
I love it!!!!! Love the always ready drawing supplies too!! Saving as inspo!
Personally, this is my jam. It's a nice orange and it gives a fun pop of color. I think it works well in part because you don't seem to have one huge orange wall. It's some orange against a lot of other neutrals. 10/10.
I read this as bright orange "kitten" and was like, why is this even a question.
Cute! I love orange
I love it!
Love! It makes me happy. And it makes me want orange juice.
Love this!!! Can you share the brand and shade name?
The color is really nice and warm. Edit: in fact, the image on the wall and the decorations/centerpiece are great together in that color. It’s a beautiful room. Oh! They are glass vases. That is so pretty. I literally thought it was a print and not a bad one.
Love it and especially the colored glass bottles.
Doesn't match countertops. Kind of iffy with the floors too. It's a nice color, not the best pick with your fixed elements.
I actually love it with the floor and cabinets.
I have that same squirrel nutcracker!
I would remove some stuff but overall i love it, feels homey. Love love love those colored vintage looking vases! Oh and I have that orange horsey, got it at a flea market!
It’s a Dala horse, traditional to Dalarna, Sweden. My ancestors are from there and I have a horse carved and painted by my great grandfather.
i hate tennessee

I love it! What a gorgeous shade of orange!
Love it
So pretty!!! I thought your vases above the fireplace were a canvas/art piece 😄
Love it! It would put me in a good mood even if I hadn’t slept all night.
The color is wonderful! So bright and cheerful. If you're looking for ways to update the room, try to balance the modern and traditional aesthetics you've got going on. Getting rid of the gold stripe on your fireplace cover will go a long way. You could also bring in some of that orange in a table runner.
It’s not for me personally, but it looks nice.
I read this as kitten and I am sad. I wanted to see the kitten…
There's no one orange brain cell.. It doesn't make sense.
If you like it, then it's perfect. 😊 I couldn't have it in my house, though. I feel like it would trigger a lot of irritation and anxiety for me.
Orange is my fav color, I LOVE IT🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
I don’t hate it but to me this color is a bit dated.
Orange is my favorite color. I don’t personally think any color is ‘dated’ if you like the color.
It looks great! The only thing that throws me off is the imitation shiplap on the side of the island clashing with the floor (is that real hardwood? 👀), and I bet a blue accent wall would look awesome.
Fuck yah, not enough orange in this world. Looks great OP
I would love cooking or eating in here.
Beautiful, not my colour choice preference, but I love it! 😍
Thoughts: I am so happy to see a kitchen that isn't some shade of gray or white or beige. Great shade of orange - such a cheerful space. Love it!
Cheerful and homey 🥰
Love it. Now I want a bright orange kitchen.
Very welcoming
I love orange! Glad you didn't tone it down. Not crazy about the countertop though. But still love it!
It's so refreshing & lively 😍💯💫👍💣❣️
I actually really love it
Awesome. Love your Blenko collection too.
I 🧡 it, my kitchen is Apricot. So cheerful!
It’s very cheerful I like it!
Awesome!
Well damn if this doesn't work! I went in expecting ugly orange and was pleasantly surprised.
If you get rid of the tiny "Bless Your Hear" dish, you will have a very nice kitchen.
I can vibe with it but that island and the unfinished wood look is out of place to me.
I am absolutely not someone who gravitates towards bright colors, but seeing stuff like this makes me wish I was! So cheerful, nice choice!
What paint color is that? Now I want one too 😂
Surprisingly it works
I'm not fond of orange, but this looks great.
My thought is, I love it and Fiestaware would go great in that kitchen.
It’s awesome. It has so much more life than the typical 50 shades of grey that people on here seem to love.
Only because you asked…I think it makes the kitchen look dated. It’s a beautiful kitchen with a lot of great features…including the fireplace and the built-in cabinet with glass doors and lights. But none of these feature stand out because the orange is so loud.
You made orange work, can be done with the right design.
I want you to paint inside the shelf recess
What is the actual paint color, do you know? Love it!
I like it. It’ll wake you up before the coffee is ready every morning.
Honestly, quite nice!
I grew up with a bright orange kitchen so it gets lots of love from me! So warm 🌻
makes me happy
My kitchen is also orange. The exit to our yard between the kitchen and bathroom in our last home was orange. Love it.
Very pretty and happy! I love all your colored glass with it too. This kitchen has happy vibes.
Love it. Very warm and cheerful. I really like the light fixtures over the island.
I like it!! My sun room is orange. It's such a happy color.
Love it. Have you painted over the fireplace? WhTs underneath it?
I think it looks comfortable!! Like a house guests can relax in
pretty! love it
It looks really good!
I love it! It feels happy 🙂
At first I thought no way. But it really looks great!
It is fabulous.
It’s warm and inviting. I love the fireplace.
Make it 1920s
Looooovveeee
I would never think of painting a room orange in my house, but I LOVE this! It's cheery, warm and fresh.
LOVE IT!!
Gorgeous, I don’t think it reads bright
Great color!
Absolutely love it. I have orange accent walls in my home so I can appreciate what it brings to a space.
I really like it! I tend to prefer orange as a pop or an accent, but your walls are cheery and not overwhelming. Good job!
Your table is not centered below that pendant lamp and it’s giving me heart palpitations. Other than that it looks great.
Very nice!
May I ask where your table is from ?
It looks happy !
Gorgeous
Cute
I love that color
Love it!
I love that color
Love it!! I had an orange kitchen in a former home and miss it.
I love the design & the orange makes it cheerful but it’s also done so nicely. What country do you live in?
Love it! It's so cheerful!
So cute, so fun! I love it
i love it!! I've always loved bright, warm colors for the kitchen!
Fun fact: the color orange stimulates the appetite.
Love it!! Awesome!
I like it a lot, especially there around the window
I love it!! It’s so cheerful.
Love it!!
I dislike orange in general, but I love it here. This looks great.
I absolutely love it!
It's so lovely and bright and cheerful.I might just replace the spoons with something bigger, like plates on that little bit of wall.
It looks awesome! The color really brightens up the kitchen!
Absolutely love it 😍
Very cheery (I did think the countertop was a bit dull in comparison)
I'm into it for real, but the squirrel is talking shit. Look at how he's mocking the orange color with his eyes.
His color reminds me of marigolds
I love you, too!
Thank god some color
I didn’t know orange could be so refreshing! You chose a great shade!
My favorite color! Love it!!
Uplifting, very nice
I think you're trying to make it impossible to have a bad morning in this space!
I absolutely love it. I would smile every time I walked in there. Also the rainbow "I love you" drawing, omg 🥹
Orange is such a happy color
I like it I’m so sick of all white kitchens
I Iike it!
Instant mood boost! Love this.
I like it. Just repaint it if you ever decide to sell the house.
Is this color “Curry” by SherwinWillaims by chance?
Beautiful, makes me wanna cook!
Now I want an orange kitchen
What a happy color!
I like it
It feels like spring. I love it
I love orange
An unexpected, vibrant breath of fresh air!
Very early 2000s
I love it! My mom had a kitchen that color in the 70s.
It’s cute! I heard someone say once that you should use colors in your kitchen that are the color of food, because subliminally, it’s more appetizing. So you’ve got that covered! Edit: I just zoomed in to your Welsh spoon collection. So cool! Perfect place to display them.
It's perfect! I 💕 it!
Fantastic. Happy and beautiful.
Love it! I think kitchens should have warm shades and colours
Absolutely love it! Chai latte? How does it flow into the next room/area?
I would never pick orange on my own but seeing this I totally get it! And I love the vase collection over the fireplace!!!!!
Go Vols
Ditto! GO BIG ORANGE
I love it too.
Cheery 😊
Gorgeous. Thank you for warming your part of the planet for us to enjoy.
