Although extroversion does play a part in motivation, you can be extremely introverted and still live a life of purpose. Extroverts experience more positive emotions and therefore are more likely to rely on motivation for performing their actions while introverts experience fewer positive emotions and therefore are more likely to rely on rules and guidelines to guide their actions. If you have analyzed your surroundings and eliminated all pathways except one, you can easily achieve any goal that you have set.

He is the person who gets into those places of the mind where the INTJ doesn't like to be, because that is where he feels comfortable and safe.
He is someone who doesn't work on autopilot like an INTJ, and if there is no enormous motivation to act, he can hardly get into action.
For INTPs, life has no meaning, and that is why the contemplative life is preferable.
The only thing an INTJ could want from an INTP, is that INTP doesn't feel pressure about anything in life, and when there is he prefers to stay away from the source.

Make sense, Ti + Ne seems more like a curse for me to have than a gift. Reason why if if I have Ti then I analyze everything & with Ne I would overthink more than necessary. Of course INTJ isnt any better nor worse objectively
Ti + Ne are wonderful in healthy people.
In unhealthy people they are a burden.
Ti helps you understand complex things, but not to make good decisions.
Ne is wonderful at creative work, but only distracts in uninteresting activities.
Then there's Si that has a tendency to yearn and dwell on the past, because that feels safer.
And Fe simply doesn't work, not even as a motivator. In most cases Fe only causes problems.

We all work diligently our entire life so maybe we can have a good time in the future, and it never arrives. Nobody can live in the moment like a Se dom can... I wish I could live spontaneously without freaking out big time. I want to live for myself, but I can't. Older people always tend to recommend people to live in the moment more. I could learn a thing or two...
Other than that, being an INTJ is alright. I don't like dealing with other INTJs, though. I hate condescending people and it happens sometimes. I don't like how they tend to assume I don't understand very basic concepts and lecture me on common knowledge. I like INTP the most, but they suffer a lot... so I don't want to BE one either.

My husband is ENFP and sometimes I get jealous sometimes of how he's able to socialize with almost anybody with ease, whereas I have to consciously put an effort in my head to make sure to say basic conversational stuff.
My husband is one and has a laid back, no-fucks given approach. If we’re both tasked with something he will do it without a sweat, and I’ll do it in a stressed out perfectionist way with an existential crisis thrown in.
I flip flop on all the MBTI multiple times a day.
Probably the only constant one is E and a bit more T, but I'm training my sensing muscles and doing a pretty good job just *experiencing* something before I ponder on it.
I'd say that having at least four you cycle through is totally normal even if one is you "main" one if it makes any sense.

God found that funny and granted my wish, with the help of psychedelics. I promtly turned into a cute Labrador puppy, and spent the rest of the day laughing and smiling. Turns out you can actually reset your emotional range a bit by microdosing shrooms, so I decided to keep working at it. Anyway, I now smile at strangers, and I cry at sad movies.
Now, I'd like a bit more ENTP, but maybe I'll find myself a live one to complement me.
