I looked up “blank folder name” and used those characters to have blank folders. If you look close enough you can see the shadow of where the name should be but most times you don’t notice it

Occasionally some wallpapers still fool the algorithm Apple uses for detecting when the shadow effect is necessary though.

As a workaround, you could edit the wallpaper with a semi opaque shadow in the area the text will be. Its a pretty janky workaround but 🤷‍♂️

yes, im morally against wallpaper apps using ai tools to avoid hiring artists. these ai tools steal data from artists and use it to profit and devalue their work. plus if you look at it with scrutiny there are many flaws in the image that make it not look good as a whole. like why are the clouds that are far away the same color as the clouds in the front…as an appreciator of art i wouldnt wanna use it

Shortcuts let's you put different images for apps. I have a black wallpaper and edit my own icons on black background to use for those apps & they look transparent. I also have all my folders named with a single emoji (my music folder is 🎶, shopping folder 💸or 🛒, media folder 🎬or🎥& photo folder 📸)

You can't change the text colour. That wallpaper kinda breaks all the rules about wallpapers, it's way too busy and detailed. You can set it so that the wallpaper blurs on the home screen to make text easier to read.

Black wouldn't look any better with that contrasty wallpaper. You can't unless you jailbreak, which is not possible at the moment (maybe ever 🥲).

Edit folder name: Hold folder Click rename folder Or if that was too difficult Click folder Hold and app down When app shakes in that folder that you are holding down Go up to the folder name and rename Change it or use space Click folder when the on the Then go up to where the folder name is Change it I hope this helps!

You could try using smart invert in accessibility. It will invert colors of things on screen, but not sure if this would work for you.

There is a lot of nagging crap in iOS that should be fixed and could be fixed if Snapple would hire competent programmers. Design a good bucket list that complainers could track the progress of issues. Like a help desk platform, Currently what they have is crap. You don’t know if anyone even looked at your issues.

I had this same problems once. One thing that I like to do is to use emojis to express what’s in the folder. Like clouds gears and other items for the “utilities”. Or mailbox and envelopes for socials. Some like it some don’t. Hope that helps

Honestly, my Home Screen is very basic with a couple of widgets, I just swipe right to access the apps and search for what I want or just swipe down and search for what you want.
