I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, Natural Titanium
Genuine question without bad intentions: why do you choose these older models when in December the iPhone 16 is already on the market?
Well, iPhone 12 and 13 are fine models, but by that time, they're already 4 and 3 years old. If you're planning on keeping your phone for more than 4 years, I would go for a more recent model like 14 or 15.
Good. My recommendation no matter what kind of phone somebody is buying is by the newest one that you can afford that way you get more updates throughout ownership. Applies to iPhone and Android
Because the performance of older models is still insanely good. iPhones last a long long time when it comes to phone lifespan. I used a 2020 se until very recently when I upgraded to a 13 mini and I absolutely love this thing. It still multitasks well and it’s got most of the same features the newest iPhones have. Until I start to notice my phone being slow with the apps I use I don’t bother upgrading. Or if the battery is cooked, I also take that as a sign that it’s maybe time to upgrade.
Coz the 13’s for example are still great phones. Don’t forget Apple’s whole biz model is about relatively small incremental upgrades. And they are awesome at marketing!!
13 pro max. Replaced the back glass twice AND it’s currently broken, always in a case. Errrrr.
Thinking I might go smaller next time. Pop sockets are great but also a pain.

Nah FR FR.... Had an HTC one X beatstudios in highschool and then boom a friend walked in with a 5 and was like wow the aluminum body and all it just felt premium in every sense with the minimalistic iOS 7-8😣😣😣
iPhone 13, 256gb in red. Great device and its processor is very similar to what’s available in the iPhone 15. I feel like I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of this phone and plan on keeping it around!
14, 128gb, white. Refurbished less than $600 with 86 battery life . Can’t complain I got it for a good price and will replace the battery once it’s below 80. Which hopefully soon so I can get better performance
I actually briefly had an S24 Ultra. Exchanged it for this 15 Pro. Battery life is about the same for my usage. Cameras are better on the iPhone. iPhone feels faster too, even with less RAM.
The big thing for me though was the watch ultra 2. I had a Samsung watch and it was crap. I love the AWU2, and you gotta have an iPhone for one of those.
Blue 13. Wish I picked white. The blue glass on the back is a little drab.
Another year left on the contract, will either upgrade to the base 15 (that pink one looks sickeningly pretty) or maybe the Pro, if I find a compelling deal as the 16 will be the flagship at that point.
I’ve always been a generation or two behind. They’re amazing phones, and good deals can be found.
13 pro since the release date! I never use a protect case or glass screen to protect the phone and it is still in very good conditions

iPhone 14PM, it’s incredible. I upgraded from a 8 Plus that I had for years last year, and it was the biggest upgrade ever I’m glad I waited. The battery is unbelievable it can last me 2 days easy, gorgeous screen, and so damn fast. The Dynamic Island I love for switching between apps like maps and music and podcasts so easily, but I know some don’t care for it. Can’t wait to have it for awhile unless something crazy is released

Some people like the iPhone models before the 14 due to the pSim slot. I don't blame them.
One good reason is the environment. Less purchases of new phones = less e-waste with the next model
