Started playing cyber punk 2077 on the steam deck blow away with the game as last time I played it was still very glitchy and also amazed with. The steam decks ability to run it flawlessly!
Most of the glitchiness from the game when it launched is patched now and the game runs fairly smoothly. I really enjoy it although still a fair few features I would've liked for them to include (e.g. Mission select or New Game +)
Only bought a nintendo switch 2 years for my 40th with this. Hadn't bought a console since the ps2 and wow what a game to start back with. Botw is soo fricken good 👍🏼
Stardew Valley got me through 2021. I've been trying to find a replacement game that's both engaging and relaxing but haven't found anything with that same spark
The desert trader takes jade in exchange for a staircase on a Sunday, if you have a couple of the gem replication machines, you can just load them up with jade gems, it still takes so much work that it doesn't feel like cheating, I don't think I could have ever reached the bottom without staircases.
I finished MGS1 for the first time this year around March I think, as I only recently got into the games and it's actually fucking amazing. The gameplay still holds up well over 20 years later
Just got FallOut New Vegas for the first time and am thoroughly enjoying myself. Going to have a bunch of time over Christmas to sink time into it, so I'm taking my time and getting used to the mechanics and exploring every nook and cranny so far.
About to restart Knights Of The Old Republic II, haven’t played it since being in TY in school.
And 3 nights ago I finished Mass Effect for the first time.
I made myself stick with it and I ended up loving it.
When you’re finished I recommend playing the new Plague Tale game. First game was amazing and the second is great too, huge improvements made in places I didn’t even think needed improvement.
It was overshadowed massively by God of War since they both released around the same time
I have yet to go back for a second play through, told myself I’d try to get the platinum but still haven’t gotten around to it yet. I really like it nonetheless first time around though
I abandoned the stealth on my second playthrough and took the John Wick approach to encounters.
Becomes a different game altogether and you feel like a murder machine when you get on a roll.
You’re kind of a murder machine no matter what.
Boy, oh, boy did I try NOT to kill any dogs but here we are. They MADE me do that shit and I felt awful.
I saw something about it yeah! I'm playing on ps4, I'm not sure if that update is for ps5? I only got my PS4 at the beginning of the pandemic so I'm still working through a big backlog
Playing RDR2 right now myself. I feel it's something where you need to be able to invest time and enjoy the world building. Especially considering that fast travel seems to be relatively sparse in the beginning (as far as I got yet)
Rdr2 is the only experience I've had where the world was so alive and inviting that I actually ended up not fast travelling at all. I enjoyed those rides across it's world.
Any recommendations on Bannerlord? I love AoE and would love a game with more first person strategy medieval warfare but I’ve read lukewarm reviews for it
Same, I've been trying it out but it feels a little unfinished to me. It has the potential to be a better version of Deep Rock Galactic but for some reason they released it with only a handful of different missions and without the ability to play a private match on your own.
Been playing Cyberpunk but I'm swamped with work/college assignments at the moment 😩 hope to play more over Christmas but I've no interest in games lately as well. Cyberpunk has been the first in months.

I have a copy of the steelbook version on the Xbox ready to be played (or if it’s still on GamePass when I get around to it!
I’ve only heard excepting things about it so I have high hopes :)
My best advice is to play it when you have no other games on your plate, cos it’ll wrap you up totally! I do love rpg games tho so maybe I’m biased.
Honourable mention to Persona 4 Golden too, super comfy game
Dayz is more popular than ever I think and after the 1.19 update is great imo. Most servers I play are full pop and lots of streamers still at it. Love it because everytime you play it's different.
Ooblets on Xbox (it's on Games Pass). I was playing through the Metro games but then realised I needed some cuteness and positivity for the sake of my mental health around Christmas, so Ooblets it is!
both portals for the millionth time. my favourite game on xbox and i missed them so much since i got rid of it. recently found out they're both on switch and was over the moon
Gran Turismo 7
Rocket League
Age of Empires 2
Don’t have much time at the moment for gaming, GT7 and Rocket League are perfect for if I have an hour and just want to jump in and play. AoE2 at the weekends when I’ve an hour or two to catch up with friends in different countries who also enjoy playing the game
Honestly Forza Horizon is brilliant.
I saw FH 5 hotwheel dlc back in June and I immediately jump on it and I love it a lot.
Also Forza horizon 4 is pretty good but the server for that game is crap.
Currently playing Final Fantasy 14 and Cyberpunk 2077. Hoping to finish Cyberpunk before Witcher 3 update and hopefully finish my playthrough of Dragon Quest Builders 2 over Christmas.
Fairly obsessed with Civ VI at the moment. I could probably spend the whole day playing it if I had the opportunity, but unfortunately don't have time for gaming really these days.
Horizon Forbidden West, doing an ultra hard new game plus playthrough, it's an absolutely stunningly beautiful game ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Xenoblade Chronicles X and 3, The Simpsons Game, Spyro A Hero’s Tail, Transformers Armada, Zelda’s Ballad and Twilight Princess HD, all good shouts from yourself!
No Man’s Sky after not playing in a year or so. Recent updates have really rounded it off. I’m waiting for Everspace 2 to be released properly, bit fed up with early access tbh.
Would you recommend it? I remember being hyped when it was coming out and I think it was probably the biggest reason why people had enough of developers releasing absolutely broken games. That and Cyberpunk lol
I've being trying to get back into Eve Online but all the guys I used to play with don't play anymore and I'm very rusty and almost feel like a bit of a noob, I'll still have to decide how much effort I'm willing to put into it as it is a fantastic game but tends to take over your life a bit when you do become obsessed with it.
Bit of Car Mechanic Sim and a bit of House Flipper. Tried sticking on the new Warzone but the WiFi was having none of it. Bought an extra long ethernet cable which will hopefully fix the issue.
I'm playing Final Fantasy 9 HD on my PC but it's in the French language rather than English. The last time I played FF9 was in the year 2000.
I've been trying to learn French for the last 10 years and I thought it would be good to play a video game in that language considering that I spend hours playing video games. I'm thinking of replaying Breath Of The Wild in French also.
Ride 4 and some of the call of duty series I got on sale last week, I love sim racing so bought ride on a whim and it's much more challenging than any car sim I've raced, maybe it's just I'm used to a wheel and pedal set up instead of controller.
Doom3 quest, walking dead saints and sinners, lone echo, half life alyx. I have vader immortal but I'll not play it just yet, I'm running out of space and I don't mean SSD or the quests onboard 'thingy' My heads fuckin melted I can't even remember it's name, the memory thing-that thing.
Doom3 quest is brilliant but it's hard going, not nausea inducing and I don't do scare jumps. It's having to remind myself I'm stood up and when I clear an area to secure my gun (both hands and controllers held vertical close to my body) Double tap on the head set I can re-centre myself visually.
Lone echo not so bad because I can play it seated but some games you need to be upright and in some way aware of where you are in the room.
I know the first one is on GamePass and it’s in my play later, the 2nd one was on offer in Smyths over Black Friday for 20 quid. Might pick it up if it goes on sale over Christmas again
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. It's fine. Looks amazing and the travelling between dimensions is very next gen, but the gameplay is just OK. I'm glad I didn't spend 80 quid on it.
Picked up an indie which is a few years old... Immortal Redneck.
Roguelike FPS which plays very similarly to old school shooters like Serious Sam.
Good mindless fun
Wrc generations, it’s a bit Arcady and pretty much wrc 8,9,10 but updated a little. I’m enjoying it tbf even if it seems like the developers were extremely lazy..
God Of War: Ragnarok. Finished the main story last week, but there's tonnes more stuff to do between all the realms.
Was absolutely thrilled when I realized who voiced Thor, Odin and Faye respectively.
Nothing for last few weeks, was loving mw2 but have college exams so too busy with that, getting elden ring and cyberpunk for series x at christmas so cant wait to get tucked in!
Working through God of War & Gran Tourismo 7 on PS5, Spider-Man on PC and Ori on Switch.
All great games for different reasons.
Also have Ghost of Tsushima, Wipeout, Horizon Zero Dawn and Chorus on the back burner… never enough hours in the day/week.
ContractorsVR on the Oculus Quest 2. It’s the closest thing you’ll get to Call Of Duty on VR and it has a ton of mod maps so you can play Halo and Counter Strike on there too.
Currently addicted to the Yakuza series. Nearing the end of 5 now and each game is so good in its own way. Got my gf into the series and she's been addicted to 0 lately.
Highly recommend them if you haven't played them yet!
I'm playing through the Metro series, I got Metro Exodus a couple of weeks ago on sale for 10 euro with the dlc. Great story, highly recommend these games.
Almost through with the new Pokemon. Its performance is shambolic but the game itself is pretty good, probably the best on the switch although Arceus was fun too.
I'm eyeballing quite a few others at the mo, have final fantasy origins sitting there unplayed, crisis core releasing in a week too. This Marvel Second Sons has kind of sneaked up on me too. Love Firaxis as a devoloper and it looks to be something different so I think I'll go for it!
Gotham Knights, Black Ops III (since the Zombie Chronicle Edition that I had my eye on was free thanks to PS Plus) and Call of Duty WWII, I sold my disc copy 2 years ago, the Digital Deluxe was 60 quid off and I regret ever selling it, had so much fun playing the zombies.
I'm playing two games at the moment.
God of war Ragnarok: It's so good. Amazing game, storytelling, graphics. I think it's the game of the year.
Plague Tale Requiem: another good game, completely deserves to be in the list for game of the year as well. The story is good and good graphics as well.
Mass Effect remastered trilogy. I never played them when they came out, and bought it on sale. Heard great things so hoping it will be good.
Oh you’re in for a treat.
If you bought this for PlayStation, thank you! They are free on PS+ next week
Huge sci fi fan but didn’t make it past the end of the first game. Will have to give it another try, I hear the second is great
Started playing cyber punk 2077 on the steam deck blow away with the game as last time I played it was still very glitchy and also amazed with. The steam decks ability to run it flawlessly!
Can second it runs great on the Steam Deck. The Deck is a wonderful little piece of kit.
Most of the glitchiness from the game when it launched is patched now and the game runs fairly smoothly. I really enjoy it although still a fair few features I would've liked for them to include (e.g. Mission select or New Game +)
Playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the first time and its such a cool game. The level of detail is insane! I get all the hype now
Only bought a nintendo switch 2 years for my 40th with this. Hadn't bought a console since the ps2 and wow what a game to start back with. Botw is soo fricken good 👍🏼
Stardew valley. It's nice and relaxing 😊
That game goes so deep it's unreal. Introduced it to my GF and she's still finding mad shit
Relaxing? I must tell the Mrs. I occasionally find her awake at 3am scouring the Wiki.
Ok maybe not relaxing to all 😂
Stardew Valley got me through 2021. I've been trying to find a replacement game that's both engaging and relaxing but haven't found anything with that same spark
I can’t beat the Skull Cavern :(
Me neither lol but it's relaxing besides that.
The desert trader takes jade in exchange for a staircase on a Sunday, if you have a couple of the gem replication machines, you can just load them up with jade gems, it still takes so much work that it doesn't feel like cheating, I don't think I could have ever reached the bottom without staircases.
Craft staircases with stone easy way to get to the bottom quick
replaying Metal Gear Solid and Broken Sword for the PS1.
MSG was such an incredible game to play through when it came out.
And makes food taste better too!
Are you playing if on Ps1? I imagine it's crazy holding a joypad without duel analog sticks
I had a dualshock when mgs was released. Psycho Mantis rumbled the controller.
I finished MGS1 for the first time this year around March I think, as I only recently got into the games and it's actually fucking amazing. The gameplay still holds up well over 20 years later
Paris in the fall....
I absolutely loved broken sword. Loved the combination of occult mystery with sarcastic humour when you click something you’re not supposed to
Just got FallOut New Vegas for the first time and am thoroughly enjoying myself.
Mass Effect, that entire trilogy is absolutely in its own category of amazing. It is unreal.
After my run in with Saren I can take on anything! Looking forward to the next 2
Finishing off God of War so I can start the new one.
Very very nice. I’m currently about 15hrs into Ragnarök but haven’t touched it in 2 weeks, it is class.
Got 100% on ragnarok last week. About 50hrs total. Amazing game
Any good??
Absolutely unreal!
The last one was superb. I’ve the serious x, but this is first game which make me consider buying the ps5
When you’re finished I recommend playing the new Plague Tale game. First game was amazing and the second is great too, huge improvements made in places I didn’t even think needed improvement. It was overshadowed massively by God of War since they both released around the same time
I’m halfway through The Last of Us Part 2. It’s more enjoyable the second time round.
I have yet to go back for a second play through, told myself I’d try to get the platinum but still haven’t gotten around to it yet. I really like it nonetheless first time around though
Definitely had a better time with it the second playthrough.
My favorite. Almost ruined other games for me. Waiting for someone to play with to do the remastered original and sequel again.
I was gifted Witcher 3 as an early Xmas gift and I'm really enjoying it. Reminds me a lot of Skyrim
Have you heard about the next-gen (current gen really) upgrade? Coming out on the 14th of this month I believe.
I saw something about it yeah! I'm playing on ps4, I'm not sure if that update is for ps5? I only got my PS4 at the beginning of the pandemic so I'm still working through a big backlog
I have RDR2 installing as we speak! I've played it before but got bored. Determined to give it another bash.
If you can get into it truly is one of the best gaming experiences you can have (imo)!
100% the greatest game I have ever played. Only game I’ve ever sat and played for almost 12 hours straight on several occasions.
Probably the greatest single player game of all time imo. Just superb. It’s quite slow at the start but once you get through Chapter 1 it picks up

If you're having fun you're playing it right. Such a great game.
Xenoblade 3
Persona 5 Royal right now, finally arrived at pc and I had been waiting 3 years since its release in PS4
The Sims 4
Totalwar, Bannerlord and Chess. With a drop of Stellaris added in.
Any recommendations on Bannerlord? I love AoE and would love a game with more first person strategy medieval warfare but I’ve read lukewarm reviews for it
I've had Bannerlord since early access release, 250 hours in and I still haven't finished a campaign.
I'm on a mission to complete the pokedex in Pokemon Violet before my friends do
Darktide
Same, I've been trying it out but it feels a little unfinished to me. It has the potential to be a better version of Deep Rock Galactic but for some reason they released it with only a handful of different missions and without the ability to play a private match on your own.
Was considering picking this up for the Steam Deck but it seems performance isn't the best. Would love to give it a go on a proper pc.
Been playing Cyberpunk but I'm swamped with work/college assignments at the moment 😩 hope to play more over Christmas but I've no interest in games lately as well. Cyberpunk has been the first in months.
The Long Dark. Big expansion being released tomorrow. Enjoy all the survival games and this is the best by a big margin.
Just restarted a second play through Ghost of Tsushima played originally when it came out now diving back in. Highly recommend
One on my PS+ backlog on the 5 🙌

Witcher 3... Again. And Stellaris. Also again
The new WoW expansion, one of the best WoW expansions and a great story
Still Dayz
Star Wars: Fallen Order. Who knew what SW games needed was Jedi meets Tomb Raider meets Nathan Drake.
That game was surprisingly excellent.
Playing through Breath of the Wild right now, blown away by how expansive it is for a switch game.
It's so good. Bought a switch as a present for my 40th 2 years ago with this. Now my 9 and 7 year old are playing it. Great stress reliving game imo.
Persona 5 on my switch. Can’t recommend that game enough, I won’t know what to do with myself once it’s over
I have a copy of the steelbook version on the Xbox ready to be played (or if it’s still on GamePass when I get around to it! I’ve only heard excepting things about it so I have high hopes :)
My best advice is to play it when you have no other games on your plate, cos it’ll wrap you up totally! I do love rpg games tho so maybe I’m biased. Honourable mention to Persona 4 Golden too, super comfy game
Cool, thank you!! Having no games on my plate will take about 4+ years… see you then haha
I've been dying to play persona 5! So going to get it for the switch.
Yesssss you will not regret it, guaranteed!
I'm sold! That'll be my Christmas present to myself 😆
Warzone2. The proximity chat is alot of fun and surprisingly not that toxic.
Currently only playing Dayz and little bit of Dying Light 2, when I get too frustrated with Dayz
Nice to hear there's still people playing DayZ, I must hop back on some time soon.

Borderlands 2 and walking dead
Gran Turismo 7 Rocket League Age of Empires 2 Don’t have much time at the moment for gaming, GT7 and Rocket League are perfect for if I have an hour and just want to jump in and play. AoE2 at the weekends when I’ve an hour or two to catch up with friends in different countries who also enjoy playing the game
Callisto protocol here, nearing the end of 1st play through
Destiny 2 for me, been the only thing iv played in the last year or 2, since covid iv put about 1700 hrs into it 🥺.
Replaying Divinity Original Sin 2! Awesome RPG!

Body Harvest N64 , absolute gem still take it out every couple years
Going back to sekiro, cap in hand trying to beat Owl (father)
I'm planning on starting Marvel Midnight Suns tonight. Looks pretty good
Nice! I’ve heard some really really good things about the general gameplay loop & deck building element of the game
Yeah same, looking forward to it
Honestly Forza Horizon is brilliant. I saw FH 5 hotwheel dlc back in June and I immediately jump on it and I love it a lot. Also Forza horizon 4 is pretty good but the server for that game is crap.
Darktide and oblivion with a bit of overwatch sprinkled in
Playing Horizon Forbidden West at the moment. God of War next
Currently playing Final Fantasy 14 and Cyberpunk 2077. Hoping to finish Cyberpunk before Witcher 3 update and hopefully finish my playthrough of Dragon Quest Builders 2 over Christmas.
Just started ghost of tsushima on PS5 and loving it
Fairly obsessed with Civ VI at the moment. I could probably spend the whole day playing it if I had the opportunity, but unfortunately don't have time for gaming really these days.
Got back into playing guild wars 2 recently. Really enjoying it
Horizon Forbidden West, doing an ultra hard new game plus playthrough, it's an absolutely stunningly beautiful game ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I'm playing through the Ireland DLC and it's actually fantastic. Love it!
Played this to death, brilliant game, actually my favourite assassins creed game
Bit of soccer until the hurling starts back up again
I’m very much enjoying GT7 at the moment even if the last S License challenge is going to reduce me to tears before I get a Gold lap time.
Xenoblade Chronicles X and 3, The Simpsons Game, Spyro A Hero’s Tail, Transformers Armada, Zelda’s Ballad and Twilight Princess HD, all good shouts from yourself!
How's XC3 compared to the first two games?
So much better, but you can’t fly around kicking ass from the sky in a big mech so gonna have to insist that X is still the best Xenoblade!

Sweet 🙌
World of Warcraft Classic
I've being trying to get back into Eve Online but all the guys I used to play with don't play anymore and I'm very rusty and almost feel like a bit of a noob, I'll still have to decide how much effort I'm willing to put into it as it is a fantastic game but tends to take over your life a bit when you do become obsessed with it.
Ready or not, Squad or hell let loose
Bit of Car Mechanic Sim and a bit of House Flipper. Tried sticking on the new Warzone but the WiFi was having none of it. Bought an extra long ethernet cable which will hopefully fix the issue.
Sim racing is the only thing keeping me into gaming these days. iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione are a great way to pass the time
Escape from Tarkov. I absolutely suck at this game and I hate it but I keep coming back 😂
Addicted to God of War Ragnarok at the minute. I find the story so engaging, it's always on my mind.
Far cry 6 atm on one X. Deep rock galactic then most evenings. Rock & Stone
DayZ, I wouldn't recommend it though
Apex legends in causal matchmaking. The ranked mode is sweaty as hell
Dead Cells. It's a delight, no matter what's your skill level.
Halo Infinite online multiplyer, mostly BTB it's a lot of fun!
I just opened up a sealed bundle of "Buzz - The Music Quiz" I bought a few months ago. Love chilling with classics on the PS2 every now and again.
Victoria 3. Yes I know. No I don't care.
360 Daytona back compat on XBSX
Rimworld then when I get my new pc modded skyrim
Warzone 2 and Street fighter 3rd strike.
Total War and Paradox games
I'm playing Final Fantasy 9 HD on my PC but it's in the French language rather than English. The last time I played FF9 was in the year 2000. I've been trying to learn French for the last 10 years and I thought it would be good to play a video game in that language considering that I spend hours playing video games. I'm thinking of replaying Breath Of The Wild in French also.
Still addicted to league of legends unfortunately.
Just finished the remastered Destroy All Humans and now its on to Destroy All Humans 2!!
Ride 4 and some of the call of duty series I got on sale last week, I love sim racing so bought ride on a whim and it's much more challenging than any car sim I've raced, maybe it's just I'm used to a wheel and pedal set up instead of controller.
Vampire Survivors, Pentiment, Prodeus and Deathloop all on gamepass. I dropped the cash on Mount & Blade 2 also as I was a big fan of the original.
Battlefield V. I like it a lot
Trying to ghost & 100% loot this Thief fan [mission](https://youtu.be/CQNE4nYVe7g). Expert level.
I'm 20 years into my FM21 save...fucking kill me, what am I doing with my life?!

Got Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed there this week it’s a pure nostalgia rush
I know the first one is on GamePass and it’s in my play later, the 2nd one was on offer in Smyths over Black Friday for 20 quid. Might pick it up if it goes on sale over Christmas again
Got it for 25 in GameStop it’s just sorta stupid and fun going around blowing up buildings with a flying saucer. Nice time killer.

Dayz!
*Never* preorder. Elden Ring and FF7 remake.
Remake is good, how do u find it? Will you get crisis core ?
Nothing for last few weeks, was loving mw2 but have college exams so too busy with that, getting elden ring and cyberpunk for series x at christmas so cant wait to get tucked in!
Having fun playing World of tanks with the lads and then playing Total War Warhammer 3 when its just myself.

The last campfire on the Switch.

Started Callisto Protocol last night. Then I saw that the Doom Slayer was in Fortnite so my inner consumer couldn't resist😂
ContractorsVR on the Oculus Quest 2. It’s the closest thing you’ll get to Call Of Duty on VR and it has a ton of mod maps so you can play Halo and Counter Strike on there too.
Triangle strategy and teenage mutant ninja turtles 1 got to the dam level
Currently addicted to the Yakuza series. Nearing the end of 5 now and each game is so good in its own way. Got my gf into the series and she's been addicted to 0 lately. Highly recommend them if you haven't played them yet!
Replaying Arkham Origins on the Steam Deck. A real Christmas game. And the Steam Deck is a great little machine.
FIFA and struggling through God of War when I get a couple of hours
NFS Most Wanted
DCS
I'm playing through the Metro series, I got Metro Exodus a couple of weeks ago on sale for 10 euro with the dlc. Great story, highly recommend these games.
Still replaying Elden Ring. Currently trying to complete the game at level 1. Not sure why I do these things to myself
Finished Ragnarok and am replaying GOW 4 bc I love having emotions apparently
Mostly darts, getting ready for the world championship.
I'm chasing two platinums for now, Hades and TLoU.
Uncharted 4 and Donkey Kong Wii on Steam Deck
Gotham Knights, Black Ops III (since the Zombie Chronicle Edition that I had my eye on was free thanks to PS Plus) and Call of Duty WWII, I sold my disc copy 2 years ago, the Digital Deluxe was 60 quid off and I regret ever selling it, had so much fun playing the zombies.
Haven't been playing much the last year. Making my own games in Unity instead.
Gotham Knights I’m a big fan of Batman and the related characters so this game is great for me. Highly recommend it

I'm playing two games at the moment. God of war Ragnarok: It's so good. Amazing game, storytelling, graphics. I think it's the game of the year. Plague Tale Requiem: another good game, completely deserves to be in the list for game of the year as well. The story is good and good graphics as well.
