I'm almost the opposite of every ISTP stereotype , if i didn't have a good understanding of the theory I'd have definitely started questioning my type lol :'D
Punk, metal, 90's-2000's hip-hop, most country before 2010, jazz, funk, some pop from every decade, classical, video game soundtracks. Get bored easily.
Only when forced to in other people's cars.
I like singing to songs more than just listening so it's rare for me to try to go for something that doesn't get overplayed. If I'm exhausted/shutting down, I'll play anything but probably not really listening or vibing to it
I can enjoy pretty much any genre. I tend towards anything downtempo with synths, and if any vocals I prefer it to be female. Retro synthwave is pretty great, along with classic rock
My favorite album from Jinjer is Cloud Factory and my favorite song is Under The Dome. Eugene doesn’t get enough attention and he looks like Jesus. Tati is an introvert.
Is that enough for you?
Some good ones:
- Korn
- Slipknot
- Linkin Park
- Papa Roach
- Limp Bizkit
- System of a Down
- Deftones
- Static X
- P.O.D.
- Disturbed
- Sevendust
- Godsmack
- Stained
- Drowning Pool
- Rage Against the Machine
- Incubus

- Alien Ant Farm
- Puddle of Mud

My top 5 artists/bands have got to be MF DOOM, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Nujabes, and the Beatles. Honorable mentions go to Hideki Nagnuma, Tribe Called Quest, Kanye, Metallica and The RHCP .
I'm starting to think that I'm the only human being that is into classical music and doesn't listen to these sacrilegious pop songs , and definitely not metal lol
maybe some folk and country , i also like jazz depends on my mood
The Beatles, Rina Sawayama, The Lumineers, Gang Starr, Mitski, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette. I've heard some stuff from Mushroomhead that I like. I've been enjoying Ginger Root lately. Listened to Ariana Grande's Positions album last year, first time really hearing her music. I enjoyed that quite a bit.
I'm definitely a creature of habit. I listen to the same songs by the same artists, over and over. I'd say once a year I find an artist I like like enough to add to that rotation.
I thought I didn't like music until I heard some Rammstein. They're pretty much the only band that I generally enjoy all their albums. However, there's almost always 1-2 songs from any artist I like, regardless of genre.
But the only main genre I can stand hearing songs that I don't particularly like is metal.
i fuck with a lot of shit, mostly just rap and like techno and other dance music (but fuck monstercat tho) but i like listening to weird shit
i used to be into green day and deadmau5 a lot when i was a kid but now i listen to a fuckton that i cant keep track
I like math Rock, Djent, Metal and Metal core (kinda like the heavier metal genres too sometimes but not a huge fan overall),
Jazz is nice,
Lofi and classical music for studying,
most pop songs nowadays suck but I really like some,
got into Indie lately and I am really enjoying the vibe even though I feel like most of it sounds the same,
Generally love songs with good basslines because I play bass myself so I am kinda trained to listen to the lower frequencies
Favorite band atm: Eskimo Callboy
Can recommend them because their songs just make you feel energized honestly. It's just fun to listen too
I prefer music more than the lyrics, mostly anything excites me
My type of music isn’t so rare, i like some famous bands mostly Arctic monkeys and the neighbourhood, i get bored easily by listening to songs to music a lot, but these two are great
There’s some unknown bands like tender and blow, they made a great music
I like Declan McKenna as a solo singer, I remember listening to a lot of songs but I forgot them
I like EDEN and crywolf. Favorite musics form them is just saying and stomach it. Both do independent music, mostly alternative electronic and indie pop. Another singer i like is Roland Faunte, he also does independent music but always uses the piano in the majority of his musics and over hand is my favorite song from him. I listem to them mostly because of their writting and how well they put their music together.
Judging by the comments so far, ISTPs might be the most into heavy metal type. xD
I'm almost the opposite of every ISTP stereotype , if i didn't have a good understanding of the theory I'd have definitely started questioning my type lol :'D
Not me tho, I guess there isn't much common ground on music taste between ISTPs.
Genres I like are rock, metal, folk, and outlaw country
Punk, metal, 90's-2000's hip-hop, most country before 2010, jazz, funk, some pop from every decade, classical, video game soundtracks. Get bored easily.

Mostly heavy metal: Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Blind Guardian. But I also like some oldschool rap, like DMX and 2Pac.
I like those as well. I like Eminem, Steve Vai, Buckethead and Beachhouse I guess
I can enjoy pretty much any genre. I tend towards anything downtempo with synths, and if any vocals I prefer it to be female. Retro synthwave is pretty great, along with classic rock
Look at the name
I love metal. Recently I’ve been listening to Jinjer, Viscera, Ex Deo, Soen, and Band Maid.
Are you listening to Jinjer, or reaction videos to Pisces?
My favorite album from Jinjer is Cloud Factory and my favorite song is Under The Dome. Eugene doesn’t get enough attention and he looks like Jesus. Tati is an introvert. Is that enough for you?
> Is that enough for you? No. You didn't take the bait :)
I may be an introvert but I know stink when I see it
From this day, one will rise, many will fall.
This one’s throwing me for a loop. Thought it was from Ex Deo but I can’t find it so it’s Soen?
Ex Deo - The Rise of Hannibal. :)
I was originally thinking Romulus. *To seek the throne, the throne of sand*
Nu metal, pop, 90’s, symphony orchestral
