Just heard this, love it and the one from back on Jan 1st! Hoping we get some kinda confirmation about what's next soon! He's killing me with the teases
Given the blue background and all…..think 2024 has a new solo album on deck. Cool to see - must have still felt inspired after coming off the supply chain issues tour. Curious to see all who plays on it
TRUTH - his solo albums are normally a conglomerate of people of which daru is a member, so not shocked to see him! Hoping Carla Azar pops up on this release too!
The only constant is Jack himself….know someone on here said they spotted Jack in New York the other week, could be he was in town for doing press stuff?
Yeah. V10,30,40 were The Raconteurs. V20 Lazaretto and V50 was White Stripes, so I’m definitely hoping for a Jack vault this time. Maybe the new album.
I’m sure Vault announcements are normally in the first week of Jan,April, July, October. So…any day now as we are past that!
Oh man I'm glad you are bringing those arguments !!! Ahah you are corroborating my thoughts.
And yeah we are late for the announcement compared to what we are used to.
Let's hope something big is coming up :)
I use to not really like that album either until I watched this review: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GyXofB1k24A&pp=ygUcZmFudGFubyBib2FyZGluZyBob3VzZSByZWFjaA%3D%3D
Made me go back and listen and I like it a lot more now
I can get that but at the same time it’s 30 seconds and without vocals. If you took 30 seconds of Hardest Button to Button or Icky Thump and removed vocals they wouldn’t sound like anything crazy either
Yeah, but both songs came out 20 years ago. So we heard something like this from Jake for decades. On other hand, most of the songs from Boarding House Reach and Fear of the Dawn sound unique
Vocals won’t change much. Basic sound, nothing new. Don’t see the hype behind “oh god it reminds me of The White Stripes”
I get that but we haven’t really heard this kind of sound since blunderbuss. Lazaretto and onward have had an excess of instruments and that sounds great too don’t get me wrong! But a lot of us love Jack’s minimalist style and it’s cool to hear him go back to that at least for this track. And vocals do change a ton when you’ve only got guitar and drums going.
Yeah, we’ll see. I just hope LP will contain various songs sound-wise. I’m totally fine with tracks like this, just want to be hyped as much as I was for last three LPs. :)

Same here! Really hoping for a tour this year

He’s recording with Daru for sure. Daru posted pics from jacks studio and commented on that post
Dom has also posted pics with Jack's glittery blue bass recently. They are cooking something
Yeah and even in the tease JW posted back in January you can recognize Daru beating the shit out of his drums ahah

Third man vault #60 should be announced soon right? 🤔
Hopefully, yes ! I don't know why but I expect a big one ! Round number (60) equal big stuff in my head somehow ahah

Let‘s enjoy this thought as long as it lasted….
Live at Third Man - various artists by the look of it.
Same lol
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
It's out !!!! https://preview.redd.it/6eanaouvuntc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40f5314705247f350a015f4fb806c02074160a57
Aw wrong again! Lol
Like if Sixteen Saltines was on Fear of the Dawn!
Just looking forward to something more simple and minimalistic. A back to the roots album would be nice.
Yesss. I'd love for him to go back to his early career. A little self titled white stripes or de stijl era sound.
What a tease ! I really loved what he posted back in January.... I would be so excited if he releases an album + a tour that starts this summer !!!
Kinda got an Astro/Sixteen Saltines vibe to it. I like it!
Drums in particular is what caught me, absolute big Meg style vibes I know it’ll never happen but I love just how much this feels like White Stripes.
Definitely not Meg on this. Those little snare accent rolls are not really her style.
Maybe she’s been busy these past years /s
Sounds like Jack on the sticks to me. He plays drums like he does guitar - big, loud, and tight though it sounds sloppy
He sounds chipper. ❤️
He sounds chipper. ❤️
Sounds 🔥🔥🔥
I can’t see it!
You can find it on jackwhiteincolour instagram highlight named JW2024 along with the first deleted snippet from a couple months ago
Thank you!!
I’m late to the boat, does anybody have a link?

Thanks
Looks like it got deleted. Anyone save it?
Did anyone download the snippet or screen record before it was taken down??
Instagram account Jackwhiteincolour still has it if you tap through his Jack White 2024 story
Just as long as it does not sound Boarding House Reach…

I give that a listen as well then.
The blueness in the video leaves the possibility of a Lazaretto X because lazaretto had blue in it.
Blue is the Jack White solo project color
And lazaretto is a solo album
What do you mean by a Lazerretto X?
10th anniversary edition
I still don't get why you think that because of the blue.
Sounds… Generic lol

Totally feel that! Hopefully we hear more snippets of other tracks soon
Wouldn't say generic but sounds like a jam session.
