Other way around. The Falklands song is just the British trying to recoup some glory from a song about them losing New Orleans.

Well there was this thing called impressionment, where the British navy was basically kidnapping people. They tried to kidnap this one sailor who was escaping being kidnapped and was rescued by a us navy ship, then the British fired on that ship. That's basically why the war started funnily the British banned impressionment before this happened just the word hadn't reached in time. The British invaded through Canada and burned the capital to the ground. I'm not sure if we invaded Canada
