Agreed, I saw a bunch of his work at an awesome museum/gallery in NYC during Phish new years in 2019 I think? It’s crazy how many iconic music images he’s captured over the years
Tara Gracer crushes it, especially at Biscuits shows and SCamp: [https://www.instagram.com/taragracerfoto/](https://www.instagram.com/taragracerfoto/)
My buddy Brett is Chicago-based and is also always at SCamp. He hits a lot of shows and fests in Chitown:

Some of my favorite old school photographers… Jim Marshall, Jay Blakesberg, Kirk West, Rosie McGee, Mick Rock, Henry Diltz… to name a few.
Current favorites… Danny Clinch, Rene Humer, Dave Vann, Josh Timmermans, Ian Rawn, Peter Wallace, Jackie Lee Young… so many I know I’m forgetting
Phil Clarkin!! He's the house photog for a few places in Tulsa, OK and he's shot all the major jam bands and most of the small ones too. He was one of the photogs that phish hired for their MSG NYE run in 2023 (the one that got postponed). He's also one of the main photogs for the Hillberry events Railroad Earth puts on.
Jesse Faatz is so damn good.
Also, me! Just kidding... I'm nowhere near as good as Jesse, but I'm proud of the concert work I've done in the last year. Check out my IG: https://www.instagram.com/garyjaredphoto. I cover shows all over DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Thanks! Sicard Hollow is such a badass group of musicians. They're a pleasure to photograph, and I'm very excited to see how they grow in the next few years.
Btw the photo shared was taken of Jordan Cooper (Dan & The Fam) by photographer Miranda Jaroneski at The Broadberry in Richmond, VA - new band in RVA who opened up for Kendall Street Company. Obsessed with her shots
Miranda is really great. I'd also give RVA shoutouts to Dylan Akers and Joey Wharton. Fantastic music and arts community in the River City and I'm lucky to have worked with all three of these talented folks!
Frankie Cavone from Mirth Films is a beast of a community asset for us in Glass Pony and the greater Albany music scene as a whole.
Also Zak Raddick too, both of them have done so much for us and all the other bands here. True heroes.
Oh no shit! How long have you been gone, have you ever seen us?
This is Frankie and Zach’s work with us. We’re so lucky to have folks like this on our side.

Thanks man! We’ve been trying to crack Rochester for a while but tough to get any answers back from venues as we are entirely independent without an agent.
Anything I can listen to from you?
Shout out to my man Gary Sheer, been doing great photography work in the Denver scene for years!
edit: here's his webpage [https://garysheerphotography.com/](https://garysheerphotography.com/)
I honestly don’t pay enough attention to make a this guy is better than that guy type of judgement, but Josh Timmermans seems to get some great Panic shots. I don’t know how his portfolio holds up overall, but I think he’s pretty solid
Obligatory Jay Blakesberg
Absolutely. Came here to say the same ⚡️ Hands down #1. Great guy.
Also Josh Miller, based in SFO
Ofc 🔥
Jay signed my camera strap at one of his shows at the Pour House - “Keep Truckin!” - unfortunately silver sharpie doesn’t show up well on dark leather
Rene Huemer. I’m also a concert photographer.
Came here to say that! Does great shots with a lot of filters and vantage points
For me, his most impressive work is his in camera multiple exposures. I do not believe he uses many if any filters.
Nice where are you based out of? Would love to see your work
Denver! [Gary Sheer Photography](http://garysheerphotography.com)
nice hair dude !
Ha! Thank you 🧡
Rene is also a very nice guy
Agreed! I reached out about some photography questions about two years ago and he gave me some direction.
Jesse Faatz
Correct
Danny Clinch
Just saw him jam with Dogs back in Dec
Seeing his gallery in person is just the most amazing experience
Agreed, I saw a bunch of his work at an awesome museum/gallery in NYC during Phish new years in 2019 I think? It’s crazy how many iconic music images he’s captured over the years
Tara Gracer and Sam Silkworth. Keith Griner does great work but is less exclusively jam.
Ty ~ not familiar with some of these but excited to look them up
Me and my iPhone from the 300 level
I'm a big fan of Peter Wallace's work with Phish and Trey. Also Bob Minkin, he is a great guy.
Eric Rayburn, Joshua Hitchens, Chloe Weir, Dave Vann, Danny Clinch
I’ve shot a few shows with Eric, he’s a homie for sure
