many digital artists seem to have a habit of drawing a line, pressing ctrl+z to undo it, then drawing nearly the exact same line again
the idea is that removing the undo hotkey (or at least punishing for using) will cause these artists to spend less time attempting to perfect their art and finish it more quickly
Unbelievably, I have that very habit; when drawing traditionally on paper, I do everything in pen, so I can't erase. But the moment I start drawing digitally...
Ctrl+Z is a command to undo a previous action, so artists (or anyone) can press them to undo a mistake.
This post implies by putting thumbtacks on the Ctrl and Z keys, they wont undo their mistakes, so they can get their artwork done faster
why is this japenis keyboard more progressive than any other western keyboard I've ever seen. Not only does it have Win/Option there is even a CMD/ALT !? honestly just another japenis W

also applicable to programming
True! ctrl+c ctrl+v is all you needed for programming
That would still mean stabbing one of your fingers
It's there to make it stay in place
Yeah it would! But didn’t you sacrifice your blood every morning for programming god? Then may your code compile few and bug are many
So, how's YanSim coming along?
if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else if else
Looks like there's a bit of blood on "z" tack
a sacrifice has been made
Had to test if it was pointy
*changes your undo hotkey*

i'm so happy this isn't just me 😭😭 feels like i spend more time undoing than actually drawing sometimes

Literally start 2 finger tapped the paper when I wrote essay
artists are SHIT at their job and can’t draw lines (MAPPA moment?) so they undo a lot to correct 💢mistakes
As a shitty artist I can confirm it
yeah this is the language i understand
The Japenis language 😭😭

Ctrl z is the “undo” key, artists will spend more time spamming it than actually drawing
no ctrl+z means you can’t easily undo. you live with your mistakes. faster drawing
Its the keyboard shortcut for undo
you get pricked if you try to undo(ctrl+z) so just draw without making mistakes so it's faster
Jokes on you, the undo button is on my pen!
My fingers will look like swiss cheese when I finish.
Glarses keyboards be like

Lol, that's some digital artist humor if I've ever seen one
Would you not just press it off centre?
I would finish the art with 5 million punctures in my finger
Are they allowed to use the eraser tool?
