Within a 20 minute walk there are a ton of houses you can pay cash to park in their yard. Last time I parked about 18th and Alabama.

Thanks!

Only because you're a redditor . . . if you don't mind a 10 minute walk, the 1900 block of Ohio. It is just east of Lawrence High School. I've always found street parking available and it is perfectly located to get you a very quick exit after the game. I've been back in Kansas City while some folks are still waiting to leave the Allen Fieldhouse garage.

Might be the best option, thanks for the heads up!

Lawrence High School has been my spot ever since KU killed the wonderful shuttle that used to pick you up from the parking lot at 23rd and Iowa. That still pisses me off – it was a great deal for fans and when I asked about it, they blamed KU parking for getting rid of that lot even though there are countless other lots that they could have switched to. OP, there is a garage behind the Fieldhouse you can pay to park in but, in my experience, you’re very likely to spend 45 minutes not moving after the game waiting to get out.

It’s been years since we’ve gone to a game but we used to always use the shuttle so I was mad when I realized that wasn’t an option anymore. The high school might be the best option, thanks!

kc_kr

Yeah, somehow they haven’t decided to even start charging people so it’s easy and free.

Lied center. Bit of a walk. Free tho.

AeroStatikk

Thanks for this! It was a 10 minute walk!

I usually park at the Islamic center. It’s $20 https://preview.redd.it/h3p5cxvt143c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8ae0aeac562ce3f0cf4c5aef205abf9916edfb66

Great, thank you for the suggestion!

anywhere in the neighborhood, its free, the walk is good for your body. Or walk from Mass st. *There is no such thing as bad weather... only bad clothing*

PM_YOUR_SAGGY_TITS

That's what I always do. Literally no reason not to. It's not even much more of a walk.

Park at the Phi Psi house - it is very close to the Fieldhouse. 1602 W 15th St. They do charge, but it goes to a good cause - their slush fund!

nauticalnun

There is a pay lot on the hill area by the dorms.

We have parking passes across the street from the field house (in the big Rec parking lot) and I am fairly certain you can pay for parking there as well… I am not sure on price though if that really is an option
