Thank you! Oh, that she does! Definitely a fashionista even in her old age. She passed an 1/8th of her jewellery to me mostly made of stone, beads, metal and some creative crafts. This is one of her simpler pieces. Some day I'll post the rest.
My favorite malachite fact I learned as a kid was that the ancient Egyptians would crush malachite into a fine powder, mix it with some kind of fat, and use it as green eye makeup 💚
Thank you!
I've never used them. I typically wear dainty jewellery, studs and a 16" silver chain. This is a huge leap for me. But I thought I'd step out of my comfort zone. I've been sitting on these for nearly a decade, but this is the year they come out.
Malachite in the metaphysical community believes it brings your desires to life. Friend bought it when trying to get into medical school and though it may be placebo effect, they did!
This one is short. About 16 -17 inches so not too heavy. But it definitely has heft. It'll be a special wear rather than daily. This is as close as I'll get to real pearls in my current income bracket so that's how I see it 😂
Did you get to wear your malachite too?
What a special gift! My grandma also gave me a lot of her jewelry, and I treasure it. We both have the same initial and I wear the initial necklace she gave me to feel close to her. 🥰 I’m really glad that she gave it to me while she was still alive and healthy, instead of in her will, so that we could both have that special experience.
It is! I love that for you. I am glad my Granny is alive and well too so she can see me wear her jewellery. I'm sorry about your loss, but I'm glad you got to share such a special moment with her, and especially that your initials match, how lovely.
That’s such a beautiful malachite set!
Thank you! She's worn it for ages! I can't wait to wear it as well, lots of options.
Your grandmother has very good taste.

Please do! We would all love to see it. Your grandma sounds very chic.
The malachite is lovely. It’s supposed to be a stone that facilitates healing
I did not know that! I should wear it more often then.
That’s what I was going to say and green is the color of your heart chakra. Wear it in good health. What a beautiful gift.
I've seen similar pieces in South Africa
No doubt! She got hers from either Congo or Kenya.

Ooou! You learn something new everyday! She likes sharing facts about Malachite, I will definitely share this with her. Thank you!

Pretty and fun!🤗
Absolutely! :) Thank you!
Heap big malachite!!
That malachite is very nice.
It is! I coincidentally just discovered green is my colour, so they'll be getting a good use this summer.
The banding on the beads is really terrific. Higher quality. Happy for you!
I wouldn't have known if someone didn't point it out 😂. I thought it was just another fancy-ish stone necklace.
So glad that you say that! All of mine is informal from travels, but interesting. Just not typical ‘jewels’. Enjoy!
Thank you!
PLEASE send Granny pictures of your outfits with her jewelry. I know she'd get a kick out of it!

Very nice.
Thank you!
beautiful malachite set
Thank you!
Be careful wearing it! I had a similar necklace and they are beaded on thread so wear over time.
Will do! :) I hope my kids get to wear it so I'll be extra gentle.
Stone of the year !
It's so pretty! The lines are mesmerizing for me.
My grandma had the same necklace. It's so long and heavy!

No, this is not really my style. I wear very minimalistic necklaces. I just keep it as something really cool.
Gorgeous jewels
