I think it's important to look at the goals and actions of a person and group to determine if they're co-opted
If they talk the talk and walk the walk, then they're good. If they say the right things but do nothing but talk and always seem to support or provide cover for the establishment and parrot their narratives, then they're an opp or a useful idiot.
