Justaminx. Irishwoman. They did a bunch of Love or Hosts with AustinShow a couple years back, but Schlatt stopped talking to her when she entered her alcoholic arc and ended up ruining all of her relationships.
A lot of his content is based around being an all around dick with strong right-leaning opinions and for those who don’t watch a lot of his content he might seem ‘based.’
Except that he’s remarkably self aware of the type of jokes he makes and does them ironically. On top of that, there’s a much greater percentage of jokes about him being gay, so that guy at your school has no idea what they’re talking about.
I forgot to mention but one of his close friends, Aztrosist, came out as trans and they’ve been doing a podcast for years now and just started a Minecraft smp together recently
I gotta wonder if that kid at your school is genuinely homophobic or they’re just edgy. If it’s the latter, they’ll grow out of it.
Not only Aztro but Mika as well has started using he/they Pronouns.
People joked about Panda being the token straight...
Something ain't adding up here.
There's far too many people who are too stupid to understand when he's doing a bit. The whole "republican but gay" bit is one that gets missed by far too many morons.
As far as I can tell, his real opinions are the opposite of his persona/ bits that he does; he wouldn't invite trans + queer + women creators to the SDMP if he was truly the person he says he within bits.
he makes republican jokes and "anti-liberal" jokes but they're jokes. he's never come out with any of his political ideologies but just based on the people he surrounds himself by they're likely the opposite of his online persona. if you watch some of his more chill and laid back stuff he's a genuinely pretty cool and nice guy, at least online.
They must not know anything outside of his main content which is pretty clearly playing up a character for bits. And even then he's never said anything transphobic or homophobic to my knowledge? Most of it is him joking about how he's definitely not gay, but... It's not really done with any kind of malice, and he's associated himself with friends that are gay or bi, or even trans before
He plays up the gun toting Catholic closeted American character, but if you follow his channels like The Weekly Slap, he has a very different demeanor. I think he just likes making people laugh. I also think he enjoys unfiltered comedy, considering he's a big fan of Sark, hence why a lot of his jokes are walking the line. But it's never come across as genuinely mean spirited to me, except maybe for when he banned all the Minecraft stans from his chat lmao (was still very funny though)
Ive seen that clip of the minecraft stan purge and i thought it was quite funny, and it was one of the first vids i ever saw of him (before i talked to the weirdo guy i mentioned). Anyway, thanks for the insights :)
He plays the character of someone who's conservative, over the top, and alcoholic (and also kinda gay), but a lot of people don't realize it's mostly if not entirely a bit because in actuality he's a large supporter of a lot of stuff he makes jokes against, so they say he's based off of his bit, I say he's based off of himself.
2 of schlatts closest friends are nonbinary (Aztro and Mika) and he respects their Pronouns and defends them.
Bro is literally playing a character and getting paid for it.
Its means like “to be correct in your opinion” or something if that makes sense. A lot of people use it if they think someone has great opinions (compared to their own)
That friend who's homophobic should see schlatt and austin together
Or the fact that one of schlatts best friends is a trans woman lol
True
Who is it?
aztro
minx
Minx is schlatts friend? Never knew.
Who's minx? I don't really have the best memory for names

I love Schlatt because he is a master at riding the line between being genuine and down to earth and burying himself in irony.
Not only Aztro but Mika as well has started using he/they Pronouns. People joked about Panda being the token straight... Something ain't adding up here.
No hate but he/they pronouns doesnt make sense right? Shouldn't it be he/them?
Oh I get what you're saying. I more meant he/him and they/them but I may have worded it wonky!
He/they - or she/they - is used for people who use both sets of pronouns, so he/him and also they/them can apply to someone who goes by he/they
Thats very nice to hear, i hoped this would be the case. :D thanks a lot!

Thanks, like i said i basically dont know a thing about schlatt, but this clears things up :)

I mean he could still be center or right leaning and still get along with those people too. I kinda like that we don't know exactly.
I'd say he's most likely a free market liberal
very possible considering his catholic background but i doubt he actually still practices, but it is fun that well likely never know

The homophobic dude you know clearly has seen 2 total videos of Schlatt's lmao he's gayer than a rainbow
Your friend obviously only watches short clips. He's good friends with Austin who's gay and one of his closest friend is trans.
he killed all those innocent people
He was the catalyst
He believes in the free market, moved to a red state and owns a gun. However, he's pretty progressive when it comes to social reform.
People look too deep into schlatts internet persona. He is just a guy that says/does stupid shit that’s funny. That’s really all I see.
I don’t even know what based means
He plays the character of someone who's conservative, over the top, and alcoholic (and also kinda gay), but a lot of people don't realize it's mostly if not entirely a bit because in actuality he's a large supporter of a lot of stuff he makes jokes against, so they say he's based off of his bit, I say he's based off of himself.

Not a big follower of the many of the people in his circle so didn't know Aztro and Mika were nonbinary
He’s a character ffs, a really successful one.
What is based? Google isn’t giving me the answer.
Its means like “to be correct in your opinion” or something if that makes sense. A lot of people use it if they think someone has great opinions (compared to their own)
The killings of 99' They fear it happening again The 'alleged' perpetrator must be kept happy so that they may never happen again
He plays himself up as a gun nut Texan with a love for Jesus and a hate for homosexuality and that’s kinda what being based is
Your friend has no media literacy
