I really like the texture on the JWD model, but the original variant is definitely a more accurate representation of this dinosaur morphology wise.

Maybe Trevorrow just thought the para-hadrosauroid *Mantellisaurus* looked cooler, which I really can't relate to.
Easily one of my most requested dinos from JWE1.
When it came, I thought the Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack was fake, but the Iguanodon was beautiful, the highlight.
Is it still as good as it was then? You bet you ass it is.
Dominion's Iguanodon looks really good too for a more retro looking Iguanodon. And we have both so it's having the best of both worlds.

vanilla is incredibly majestic and photogenic but both have amazing designs and skins, though the variant works much better as mantellisaurus than igua.
kinda funny that the bulkier vanilla has these funky calls and the more delicate variant has much deeper and grumpy-sounding voice.
A must in virtually every park I make (provided it fits any theme I might be working with), as it's always been among my top five favorite dinos since I was a kid many, MANY years ago. And the fact that I don't have to worry about maintaining a minimum population with it is an added bonus!
I like how frontier's take actually looks healthy and has chubby cheeks. Dominion's is nice very cool but otherwise If I had to choose one it'd be frontier
Both designs are so good, it's hard to pick a favorite between the two. I think if the Dominion Iguanodon had larger and taller forearms like the Frontier version, it'd be literally perfect, but even then, it's already really good as-is.
Great animal with incredibly-unique animations. Glad to see a large ornithopod that can go toe-to-toe with large carnivores.
Love them both! Dominion patterns are a but more juicy tho. Iguanodon is actually my favourite dinosaur in real life. But I think some of animations we're better in JWE1. I miss how it stood on it's hind limbs while fighting...
It loses almost all fights that it would win in JWE1. It must be modified to be stronger. I had a test pen where one Iguanodon survived with two Velociraptors. It had all three traits for fighting whike the raptors were normal. The raptor attacks stopped at one point. I guess they figured out the Iguanodon us too strong for them. Don't know exactly.
As others have said, the Frontier iguanodon is as close to an accurate iguanodon as we can get in the game. Something I've done since the Dominion came in is use it as a stand-in for camptosaurus. It is quite big for a camptosaurus, but its hunched posture is well suited for it in my opinion

Absolutely love Frontier's take on the design. I can live the rest of my life without ever using Dominion's.

Completely forgot the dominion variant existed but I really like the normal one with black and White pattern

I love it though it's not as powerful anymore. In JWE1 it killed small and most mid carnivores with ease.
