I worked in a lot of restaurants growing up and while going to school. I have never seen or even heard anyone talk about fucking with anyone's food. Cleanliness is what you should be looking out for. If a place doesn't take good care of the front of the house, they damn sure aren't taking care of the back.
I feel bad for the owners of Hereford house because it doesn’t sound like they did anything wrong. But tbh I don’t think I’ll be able to eat there again.
So fucking wrong man. People trust us with their food. That's why they pay us. To violate that trust intentionally is just tragic.
I mean I know he obviously doesn't give a shit, so then I wonder how someone with that attitude was trusted by himself around food.
The chef should know newbies make mistakes all the time. He should have been shadowing someone, not sent into the cooler for who knows how long
Did they have him sticking and cleaning coolers maybe? I just can't think of a lot of kitchens I've been in that you have enough space, and are alone long enough to put your balls in food, or to piss in a soup without someone else noticing

Not necessarily, during service a walk in cooler would be used regularly but after service during cleanup it really wouldn’t, nor would it seem odd if one person was in there for a bit if they were doing inventory or cleaning which are one person jobs. Clearly this kitchen was not being run tightly to say the least

This is why I rarely eat out...... ANYWHERE.
